Leap frog puzzle

Anyone here know how to do the two friends play leap frog puzzle? I don't understand it. Probably really easy too haha.

Swap the statues' original positions.

Yeah. I'm not at that part yet in English but in Japanese it was misleading on purpose. But also there was a pun/trick that I don't know how they translated because in Japanese "kaeru" means "frog" and "to change."

It's still somewhat misleading in the English version. The best way to notice what to do is by looking at the pattern at the statues base. It's backwards.

The Kaeru Kaeru joke was used in Naruto as well, if I'm not mistaken. The japanese are so punny =]

Felt like a proper idiot after I realized you just switch them at the top. The Riddle is very misleading.
