Why are the people who constantly bash the game even post in threads? Why do they even bother coming to this board in the first place?

Grind a few levels and buy a butt-ton of MP restoring items. I never really had a problem with never having MP; maybe you're just having bad luck.

And turn your Iced coffees into strong coffees.

2 Iced Coffees + I Sping Water = Strong Coffee for half the price.

game is very easy. You just need to learn how to control or play the game. Explore the options. Give the AI defensive pet and remove all their spell so that they won't waste mana.

Go grind tokos and use the Dino so that you're so overpowered you don't even need healing.

I don't mind the whole MP issue - I find it makes the strategy more intense. You can't just spam spells or attacks...

Of course I'm only level 18, but Esther for me is set to healing, I've only had her die once and that was me knowing she's going to die, but there was only 1 enemy left and I could care less since there was a Save Point ahead.

I do wish that MP recovered over time - or at the end of the battle, any blue orbs that weren't picked up would be shared with the party.

I will hunt you down the beach Carth Onasi..and I will always leave you behind to die Kaiden.

Are you actively avoiding fights? Did you just recruit a bunch of new familiars when you were having these issues?

Were you defending against the bosses?

I'm genuinely curious, since I've never had that issue.

Never avoid fights. I usually have two fully leveled familiars and one being leveled.

I have yet to get hit with a big move on the bosses. I had 0 issues with bosses once i leveled up more. I was dieing from just normal hits. Remember this is early in the game and that first type you step out of the glade they even tell you don't fight you will have trouble.

Maybe when game opens up with alchemy it is easier since you can upgrade better.

I was level 18 when I first fought that thing in the alchemy jug, at level 20 now, will grind to 21 and go again.

$5 says OP didn't click "ok" when setting tactics

swaines magically disappearing 10 mp per battle.

yeahok

I'm thinking this too. I was mad at the AI myself until I realized that I've been backing out of the tactics menu every time instead of pressing X on the "OK" option.

Well, against Al-Khemi, you should block his regular attacks when he has the flaming sword.

Were you picking up the purple glims against the Nightmare? Those damage you.

Also, again, have you been feeding your Mite treats? That's pretty important in the early game.

I'm around level 26-27. It's not the dying that's bothering me, it's the running out of mp in 3 battles

Play around with what tactics work best for you.

If it bothers you that much swap what abilities your familliars can cast ie use more melee so Ester cant choose super mana sucking spells.

Use all out attack/defend to save mana.

Buy coffee.

Oh yeah, I can't believe I didn't suggest it before, but get some familiars that are reistant to physical attacks. Look in your Wizard's Companion for Familiars that are. Little Bighorns, the Skeleton guys and Monoliths are(I gave up on catching a monolith though).
