Low Level runs can be interesting, but due to the familiar system this game is probably very difficult to do one in.

Here's something I've found useful: The moment an enemy spots you and the "!" appears, press triangle, then circle. They change direction, which I use mainly to catch things that are attempting to run away but might also help you evade battles.

I've got to say though, I don't understand why people are saying this game is easy. I've been wiped out quite a bit. Granted, this was mostly because I wandered off in the wrong direction and fought things I wasn't supposed to fight yet, but I've also lost to two of the bosses. I was definitely not underleveled, either.

that sounds really interesting, i know you can do it when they run away from you but have never heard it about the other way around, definitely gonna try it thanks.

tonight i have a date with shaddar and the other two boss battles after vileheart, this will probably be the hardest battle so far so lets see how it goes.

Starting levels for the last chapter are Oliver 32 Esther 32 Swaine 33
i think i won´t use Marcassin because its lvl 50 stats will make the challenge too easy

Party members levels for the last battle are:
Oliver 37
Esther 32

Esther final level is 32
Final average level is 40,5 = 41
Its impossible to get lower than that.

Forthose attempting the challenge in the future or that need the info:

Oliver can take 3.731 more exp
Esther can take 242 more exp you must left her in the bench in ch 7
Swaine can take 39 more exp

I only used 70 exp more for esther and oliver in order to capture a monolith
Is recommended to take the fire familiar in the temple of trials
Is recommended to reload and retry until you capture 1-3 monoliths, for this purloiner and whambat are the recomended companions, do it before getting swaine or he will level up in the end

You can play normally until esther is recruited it will not affect the final outcome because oliver has 3500~ exp to waste

Abuse the casino for infinite items/money on mid/final game

Equip humans with def items so running away and failing is not insta game over
If you can, steal and abuse golden glims for rare loot
Esther's familiar is your MVP give/buy everything to keep him in max shape, his 3-4 mp spells hit like olivers 9+ mp spells and he get wind and water damage improvement trough scales, jump with him so it moves faster, in chapter 7 markassins familiar takes this role with his massive Hp/Mp/matk the ability to use armor for maximum def and the dark resist for the last battle is the only one who survives caos without blocking

Get rewards only until level 1, the level 2 are not neccessary or even play against the challenge.

Outsides of bosses mandatory exp:
Forced ruff fight 4exp
Forced 2 teeny boopers 12exp
Forced rabbot and taddylwink 18exp
Forced two chars battle 61
Forced catch tutorial 60
Forced (various) mummy's tummy 751
Forced earth oggr 625

Total time to complete 52~ hours.
