I'm 27 and have thoroughly enjoyed the game so far. I'm only 15 hours in but I'm already getting the sense of old school jrpg influences in this game, which makes it even more fun for older gamers I think. It's got a great Secret of Mana vibe with some Pokemon aspects thrown in there, without too much kiddie stuff.
I'm 30 and I'm a oldschool rpger. I was posting on this board one night for some reason as I don't have this game, but I do want to give it a try at some point in my life I guess. If there were places around where I could rent games (I guess I do miss Blockbuster a little) I would rent it.
Some of you people would know better than me but it does seem like a good amount of adults play this judging from my time spent on this board one night. --- slowbeef: Hold on it's the evil wizard who's spinning and striking a pose. And also giant swords, why the hell not. Retsupurae on Earnest Evans, a wacky game!
Does your sense of imagination die as you age? If so then you may not enjoy the game as much. I'm 23, which apparently is somewhat young based on the first page of comments surprisingly, but I am loving this game. It's one of those things like Regular Show, for example, which is "made for kids" but if you really watch it there is some SERIOUSLY weird **** that goes right over kids heads.
Also, since when can you not curse on gamefaqs? :| Can't even asterisk one letter w/o "violating the service..." What the crock?
28, enjoying the hell out of it. Not necessarily my favorite JRPG this gen, but among my favorites. --- Playing: Ni no Kuni - Captain Whamtastic http://i.imgur.com/IVH6BX0.jpg Dragon Quest>Ys>SMT>Tales>Final Fantasy, but I enjoy all five. Da Bears!
30 and enjoying every moment of this game, best game in a while this gen. --- Ryoma / Sora / Naruto / Luffy / Ginta Young heroes between the ages of 12-17 make RPG and other video games better then older heroes 18-21 and over.
