Skull Mountain Boss (spoilers!)

So when I saw this huge dragon swoop down I peed my pants - especially since I didnt have my best familiars equipped since I was levelling some lower ones.

But then I realized I could blind, poison, curse AND stun him, making the fight an absolute joke. I mean it's nice that status effects are useful in this game, but that takes it a bit too far :)

Blind/confuse are also amazing to farm much, much stronger enemies at low levels.

He's just about the only boss in the game that can suffer status ailments though heh.

Blunt worked on all bosses so far though, often cutting physical damage by 1/3 or more due to how defense works in this game. I like it.

That was the only time in the game where Drippy's tip caught me by surprise, cause I've been trained by every other JRPG ever that afflictions are useless vs bosses

Blunt isn't an ailment though. But yeah I guess that wouldn't work in some games.
