Marcassin ? I did. I mean he was useful, but he just felt like a bigger Oliver. I still replaced him for Swaine, but having to build up another set of familiars wasn't happening so I gave him Swaine's. --- Sazh - Racist caricature and worst FF character ever. Don't agree ? | I don't think he joined too late, I just wish the person who sat in reserves still got exp. Honestly I enjoyed the opportunity to raise up a new team of familiars. Especially since he has different compatibilities.

| Oh, absolutely. I haven't even bothered tryng him out. He comes way too late for me to care about him, and I don't feel like replacing any party members with their favoured familiars I've leveled up at that point. Not a fan of his favoured genuses either

| imo wouldn't be such a problem if he could either steal or capture familiar (which imo oliver should be doing the capture not esther).
Now it's like "gee thanks I have to raise a new set of familiar AND if I replace someone I lose something irreplaceable yet he bring me nothing unique"

| When I got him he was 30 levels below me, so perhaps getting him back in the clarion or hamelin arc would have been better. Of course it wouldn't have mattered to me anyways since I'm going for the plat and I need Swaine's and Esther's abilities to do so.
All in all, no real motivation for me to use him regardless of when he had joined.

| Yes, he joined far too late. I was lv64 when he was only lv49. You can definitely tell he was a PS3-exclusive addition and not originally planned for the game due to his exclusion from the DS version. My main problem with him though is that he can neither steal nor tame monsters, which makes him not very useful for post game play.
