PARTY LEVEL HELP in Sky Pirates Arc

#1ElzamChroniclePosted 2/8/2013 8:34:08 AM
Things have been running fairly smoothly on The Tombstone Trail and even the boss there wasnít a problem. However, when I arrived at the Sky Pirateís island my entire party got instantly demolished by the first enemies I came across!? My current Party Level is in order: Oliver Lv. 31, Mighty Mite Lv. 30, Dumbelemur Lv. 27, Jackrabbot Lv. 24, Esther Lv. 31, Catpurrse Lv. 28, Strongo Lv. 28, Tu-Whoo Lv. 25, Swaine Lv. 30, Bone Ranger Lv. 28, Sprout Sprite Lv. 28, Megalith Lv. 17, and a Lv. 1 Tin-Man in Reserve. Iíve been fighting every enemy I come across (accept for the ocean ones and the ones that instantly respawn) so what am I doing wrong?

What Level am I supposed to be for this area in the game and where is a safe and easy place to grind (who should I grind)? Iím on Easy Mode btw.

Also is there any way to get my allies to save their MP for healing? They keep on using it all up and then getting KO Ďd. MP items are really expensive. I play as Swaine and Esther to let you know.

I'm around level 39 with my characters, not my familiars though

My guess is about lvl 40. I was 50ish myself around that time and I easily stomped the enemies. Just go fight some tokos on ugly duckling island, nw of autumnia.

None of my characters are level 40 and I am like three arcs ahead of you. For the Sky Pirate part I kind of just ran up the hill passing skipping most of the monsters because I knew I would be burnt out if I fought them all.

I think now is the time for me to grind a little though after barely beating the previous boss.

Your levels look fine. You are higher than before I met Kublai. What are your familiars equipped with?

That's what I was thinking but all my allies die in 6 seconds after I begin battle. I can't even survive by spamming items. )X

Also my familiars aren't really that well equipped because of the lack of money I save for buying Strong Coffee which is vital because my allies keep wasting their MP on abilities. -_-'

Do the tokos do as much damage as these guys? If they do my party's not gona survive. 8(

Also, how were you at Lv. 50? Is there a way to level up faster by doing sidequests or something or did you just grind a lot?

Maybe you should go back and grind some of those sea creatures or do some errands, bounties around castaway for cash and buy better gear. I hardly bought coffee around the lower levels, due to the fact how often your MP and HP refills due to levelling.
