lol, seriously, what the hell did i just watch? you control a 8 year old kid using puppy monsters to fight monsters that belong to cartoons for 5 years old kids O_O
Seriously don't understand why people hype this game everywhere, it's just......stupidly cartoonish.
And more importantly, how can any adult(20+) enjoy a story meant for very young kids and not feel embarassed when playing?

| I figure the same way many adults still enjoy games like Pokemon. Just because you play as children doesn't necessarily make the game kids only.
I'd be more embarrassed that I came to a board for a game I haven't even played just to rag on others who have and enjoyed it.

No I am not "embarassed", but your negativity shows that you are heartbroken, anyone can identify what he is lacking of? :) There are a lot of good reviews about this game, IGN for example gave this a 9.4, and was reviewed by an adult, email them and cry that they should be "embarassed". | My girlfriend said that when she saw me playing, she's used to more serious RPGs.
She came around too. Join the club, bro. Oliver's more badass than any FF hero, that's for damn sure. He only doubts himself for like 5 minutes and then afterwards gets a new casting animation. Legendary videogame heroes like... I shudder to say it... Cloud tend to be emo for 15-20 hours at a time. |

You basically downrating the literal DISNEY of JAPAN in this comment, as such his worlds are unique, is characters are colorful, the music and sound is magical, and the story is enchanting.
You wouldn't hate on Lion King cause of these facts, so why hate it on that, and unlike Disney most of this ghibli's story's and worlds are UNIQUE and ORIGINAL, and not stuff based off already established stories and worlds.
The only real BAD thing this game has going for it is the combat mechanics, which are downright poorly done, and boring. You can tell the difference from Level's 5 skill and Ghibli Studio's masterwork, it just doesn't fit, and many of the mechanics are heavily conflicting with each other, and could have been much better.
