Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch

I happened to find that 2 identical familiars i caught had different starting stats... i just want to ask if the stats of the two will be the same once i max their level, because if Level-5 brought the infamous Pokèmon IVs into this game, where just catching a familiar can be extremely frustrating, i really don't know what to say...

There can be variation, usually not that much. Stat gains may or may not also be (slightly) randomized (say 1 point variance possible sometimes).

I've seen people post max stats on two of the same familiar that they claim were leveled the same way. The largest variance was ~15-20 points in any given stat.

So if you are someone who just has to have the best possible ... you're doomed.
