Besides from getting trophies, what does this game have to offer in terms of content and replayability. Does it have a lot of sidequests during the main game, or during the post game? Are these sidequests worth it in the long run, and what range of difficulty are they?

Also, how long is this game?

Ass loads of sidequests that are the epitome of tedium.

"Difficulty" of them steadily "increases" as you proceed. I guess they are useful to do for the merit bonuses, but nothing that really changes anything.

Length can be anywhere from 20+ I guess. I did 40. A good 10+ of that being grinding.

Casino place, and an arena place, as well.

There isn't much to do once you've obtained the platinum trophy in this game. You could make a 100% save file where you caught one of every familiar, but the requirements for the platinum are pretty extensive and they cover the majority of the game's content. There are plenty of sidequests in the main game, but not many in post-game.
Why? Because **** you is why.

Tedium to you. Not everyone is going to see them that way. But yes, a load of side quests.

Ahem -

Half of the quests are, and I'm not joking -

Going to Character X, who has Heart Piece of Y, to bring to Z.

Often, in the same god damn town.

About 10 quests are -

Go find diary in random location in the world.

About 8 are -

Go farm ENDLESSLY for specific familiars for a dingus.

The rest are -

Farm random items needed for X, Y, or Z things.

Yeah, the quests are kind of repetitive but there's a limit to how much they can do with the gameplay available. It was kinda cool that there were a few "steal" quests with specific conditions (e.g. inflicting a certain status on an enemy before stealing their rare item).

I would have liked some timed missions.
