thinkb4uspeak posted... save edit.. just give urself max stats and give RNG the middle finger. God I hate people like you.
Why? If you're gonna worry that much about it, then just edit your save. Then you don't have to worry about it :)
Don't worry about it in the first place. You're either going to spend the time to do it or you aren't. Cheating just destroys any semblance of 'meaning' it might have. It just aggrivates me that some chuckles heads go "Hur hur hur, I dun wanna have to work for dis!" and bypass everything that other people actually have to try for.

There's nothing to be distressed about. It's like being irritated by people farming tokos. There's no point, since it's what they like to do. Some people just enjoy "breaking" the game. Only things I've modified are the "exclusive" familiar tickets. I can see why some people would enjoy a god playthrough, though. It's fairly simple to adjust stats. --- P.S. - I use proper grammar online. (Yes, I'm fully aware of my insanity.)
I have a question - how does this guy know for sure what the bonuses are? Is he reloading hundreds of times to see what points he gets? What happeneds if they are off by point? Hundreds of hours can be lost. --- PSN: StuntmanSnake /// Gamertag: StuntmanSnake OUYA: StuntmanSnake /// YouTube: StuntmanSnake
Hichew23, if you're still reading this, I have something to tell you that will hopefully ease your mind. I have massive OCD and if I'm not playing a "perfect" save file I feel as it's pointless and a waste of time. Now, while perfect stats seem to contribute to this, you also gotta think of other needed results. Such as an item only obtainable multiple times at one time only. Firefrys drop Hocus Focus Gems at one point of the story only and in order to get a perfect save file, at least in my eyes, you would need to get the max amount of these. This means 999 of them. Up for the task? Also, in the familiar list that shows the amount you have defeated, this means everything needs to be at it's highest possible value. Obviously Bounty Hunts can only have "1" so those are at their highest possible value but there's enemies like those Firefrys that require defeating 999 of them and also those mini jellyfish that pop out of the one boss from the Fairy Island; you'll need 999 kills there too. So, basically, this either made you rip your hair out more or made you realize that it's realistically inhuman. I'd like to know your thoughts. --- PSN: StuntmanSnake /// Gamertag: StuntmanSnake OUYA: StuntmanSnake /// YouTube: StuntmanSnake

At what point in the story do I see them?
SkrallRampager posted... Why? They hate people like you because they labor under some delusion that it is somehow more worthwhile to work hard and long for a specific set of data in a single player game then it is to work less hard for that very same data. And therefor people who do work less hard are scum to them, since the objective of the game is not to enjoy it, but to work hard at getting good stats. This ain't Pokemon or some online multiplayer thing. . --- I am the Hunter of Topics. My post never fails to kill its prey. *pounces* Nyaa!

They can only be fought at this time only. Using Swaine, you can steal them relatively easily. Are you truly aiming for 999 of these gems and kills that I mentioned? Another thing to be aware of, these Firefrys come in three different signs: star, double star, and planet. This is the only way to obtain a planet sign for this genus. --- PSN: StuntmanSnake /// Gamertag: StuntmanSnake OUYA: StuntmanSnake /// YouTube: StuntmanSnake |
