Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch

Lets see, i thought xenoblade was boring...as well as the last story...even more strange i liked ff13...but only for the battle system and the weapon custom things and such (the exploration in that game is terrible...anyways really hoping Ni no kuni gives me an awesome jrpg...cus damn ive been waiting for one... /blogfaqs/

Xenoblade Chronicles getting a lot of hype in the West probably because of the big open world to freely explore and an offline mmo feel to the game. Plus it has so many sidequests and also an option to allow you to replay with your saved data after you beat it just so you can discover other things you probably miss on your first try! No wonder it attracts more western rpg fan than old school jrpg fan!

Did you bother or think of playing Arc Rise Fantasia which is very linear and very old school. Even though the English voice recording is very poor, the game itself does have a unique battle system and lots of customization possible with weapon and magic! Plus most bosses are not pushover and take strategies and patience to beat them.
