A. The story is decent (all arcs).
B. The bankground music and holo-graphic interface(s) bring back memories of playing Dead Space 1.
C. The ending gives you a clue as to where you might start on the sprawl as Isacc as well as the effect the Ishumura had on him.
D. These mini-games could easily appear in the actual game (though less of them) and this gives you good practice.

I personally really liked the story, although since there's no indication as to which of the endings is canon (at least, we won't know until DS2 that is...) it really raises a lot of questions about what's really going on with Franco.

Now, is this worth your money? I say if you're a big DS fan and interested in all of its universe, go for it.

As a huge Dead Space fan, primarily for the story and world, this was worth every penny. And that's only after getting 1 ending, which I said "WTF" at. I will get the rest, but I hope they tell us which ending is canon.

Actually, if you think about it, they were very clever in writing the endings such that it doesn't actually matter which one is "canon." Certain results are still the same (e.g. it always leads to where Isaac will start, which is always the same place). And...SPOILERS...















Franco always survives the initial outbreak and always releases Isaac, and Sarah always dies. All 2 has to establish is that Sarah is dead and Franco is alive at the beginning of the game; if they go into no further details it won't actually matter which path you took. So that really makes it up to you to determine if Franco is torn up about the loss of his girlfriend, of if he's a murderous jerk.
