Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together

So I went to this battle, the only witch that ever appeared for me was at elevation 22, but no matter how many times I kill her and chariot, she simply refuses to drop Abyss II. And before you guys ask, I'm level 50. So can somebody tell me exactly which witch is which (see what I did there?) and who I have to kill to send enemies into the abyss? For example, coordinates, elevation, alignment, weapons, etc?

You know you have to refuse to recruit Xapan? The encounter where he ambushes you is later on in Golyat. That's where it drops.

Yes, I know. I finally got the witch to drop it. Thanks though. I haven't touched the game in a while so i forgot how long it took to get some drops (glass pumpkins anyone?) even with charioting.
