What if Capcom decides not to produce any more SF games due to the DLC backlash?

I think the fighting game community would suffer quite a bit if there were no more Street Fighter or Capcom fighting games in general. They're the main supplier of the best fighting games out there. The Street Fighter series is part of gaming history. It would be like Nintendo not making any more Mario games, or Square not doing any more Final Fantasy games. It would be a pretty big blow to the gaming community if certain games just didn't exist anymore.

I could see the end of Super Street Fighter IV iterations, but this will force them to try different things with DLC. I still don't think that they'll stop developing all of the game together with DLC (it saves money and allows you to allocate that piece of budget to somewhere else, rather than having to call back devs to develop DLC while they are working on other projects) but possibly will not put DLC on disc (sadly, MY HARD DRIVE SPACE)
