I watched a replay of one of the top grandmasters using Kazuya/Jin and he did a pretty cool combo and I only managed to do it once. Can one of you Kaz pros please try this combo in Training and let me know what the trick behind it is? Is there a difference between his Mist Step MP/Mist Step HP? Anyways, here's the combo (HP uppercut = MSHP)
MSHP > HP, MSHP > MP, cr. HP (5 hits).
Let me know if any of you pull off that combo, and I'll reveal another Grandmaster Kaz combo

His Mist Step MP/HP has 2 different versions. If you see a purple spark and it inflicts 100 damage, that's EWGF (Electric Wind God Fist). If not it's the regular WGF (Wind God Fist) which does 80 and can't combo as well I think. I don't use Kazuya. |

jonoisgoodPosted 8/1/2012 8:50:37 AM | I'm pretty sure that his best mid screen combo is like HP, EWGF, EWGF, MP (or cr.MP), EWGF, HP, EWGF, EWGF...Does almost 500 damage, no meter.
Of course, I can't do this, but as far as I know, 5 is the max number of EWGF you can do in a combo. People who can actually consistently get two of them in a row have put in A LOT of work.

zhaoyun99Posted 8/1/2012 9:28:05 AM | You just tasted only the portion of the nightmare Mishima. In this game, Kaz is much easier to use while in TK, the Mishima proved to be very unpopular. Ask a Mishima players from TK franchise for more advice since they are a lot more experienced in pulling EWGF consistently. They could help you with that since the timing in this game was less strict in TK.

Eventually, with practice, is one nearly flawless at it, or is it something no one can master? Or is there a certain technique to it where once it's recognized, you will no longer fail often?

EWGF requires you to input down-forward and MP/HP on the exact same frame. It's like learning any other 1f link, although harder, because you can't really plink it.
