Does Sakura seriously say "Duh! Winning!" when you get the first hit?

Thanks TC. This thread makes me feel a little better about forking over the money for the DLC characters.

It's way different, I don't know how to describe it but it annoys me so much I have a hard time even playing her.

Her VA is the exact same as SF4. She just recorded her lines with more intensity. Same for all the other VAs, with the obvious exception of the new characters.


If Gilbert Gottfried was a VA with his normal voice, and then did the character in a later game with his ridiculous comedy voice, that would reflect what I currently feel about the new Sakura voice.

Put Sakura to the superior JP VA as she was originally intended. Problem Solved. Duh, winning!

Her JP voice is almost as annoying. SSF4 JP > SSF4 ENG >>> SFxT JP > rubbing a cheese grater against my ears > SFxT ENG

She's one of the few characters in both AE and this game where i don't mind her speaking either language.

I never knew VA's were such a big deal for people until lately. I noticed right away with this game that the English voices for the girls didn't sound like different people, but that they were just more upbeat. Most noticeable for me was my main Cammy, I prefer her more mature tone in SSF4.
