The site has changed a lot over the past 14 years, but one thing that definitely hasn't changed is the amazing userbase that keeps this site afloat. It never ceases to amaze me just how big and helpful this site really is. I'm glad to still be doing my part and hope to continue doing so for a long time. Early next week, I'll try my best to "boost" everyone's enthusiasm about another GameFAQs anniversary as well. The only real noticable change this week is the "All Systems" page layout. Before, it was a straight alphabetical list. But with so many systems in the database, alphabetical order really was impractical and the current generational setup makes browsing a lot easier. Onto the mailbag! "So, what kinds of candy did you give out on Halloween?" -@wateradept24 (via Twitter) SweeTARTS and Snickers. If there's a better combination, I'm not sure what it is. "Sunday is your 10th anniversary of GameFAQs membership, at least according to your board profile. Are you celebrating?" -DetroitDJ I didn't have anything special planned. Honestly it hadn't even occured to me until you brought it up. Now I just feel old. :/ So, as a LONG-time IIDX fan, what's the word on DJ Hero?" -CyricZ This also makes me feel old! So far, I'm pretty impressed with DJ Hero. I wasn't sure what to expect coming in, but the modifications they made to the prior formula used with DJ-type games are quite fun. The crossfader can be a bit difficult on harder songs and the timing is very unforgiving, but the game is definitely fun if you're into rhythm-action games. "How did you decide which words GameFAQs should relax on for the autoflag filter?" -HaRRicH The original idea was only to remove the word "gay". I asked the moderation staff about it and got pretty positive responses but suggested a few other words as well. I decided to ask on a few social boards who were also all positive and suggested a few more words. I just went ahead and removed them all. So far, so good. *HEROES SPOILERS BELOW! You've been warned!* "How do you feel about what's going on with the TV show "Heroes" this season? Do you think it will be canceled after this season? Are you angry that Mohinder is back? Are you angry that the Actor who portrayed Nathan Petrelli has been fired? Do you think Zachary Quinto gets too much air time? Do you think it's stupid that Claire suddenly is a Lesbian? How do you feel about what's going on with Hiro and Charlie?" -Anonymous That's a lot of questions. In order: -I'm not happy at all because NOTHING IS HAPPENING! Everytime something interesting starts to happen, they either destroy it or just forget about it. Yet I can't help but keep watching it anyway at this point. :/ -I don't think it will get cancelled. Despite falling ratings compared to the previous (better) season 1, the ratings are still pretty good for it's station. -I hate Mohinder's character and pretty much always have. My favorite part of this season was the Mohinderlessness (you like that word?) of it all. -Yes. I like Adrian Pasdar's work and I'm sad to see him go. His acting was some of the best in the series. -Yes. This season we have two Sylars. Three if you count the past Sylar from the last (pointless) episode. We get it, you like Sylar. The only interesting thing was the Sylar vs Matt thing, which they are really downplaying for some reason. -It sorta fits the character, but feels more desperate than anything. -I knew going into the last episode that something along those lines would happen. To be honest, Hiro's character has gotten really boring and this wasn't really the right direction to take it. I'd rather see more Ando than more Hiro at this point, for whatever reason. *END OF SPOILERS* Whew, that was exhausting!
