Base stats for Necro Summoner and Conc Barbarian?

| ifreakovern64 Posted 9/25/2008 3:50:48 AM | I don't know enough about the barb to help you there, but I love the necro. You only need enough strength equip the items you want to equip. I never put more than 118 (after equipment) for the marrowalk boneweave boots. As a summoner, you're not fighting, and so don't really need to worry about blocking. I don't put any hear... at all. Vitality is the point sucker like every build. Put extra ones here. Energy is up for debate. Some don't put any here because you don't use much mana when your minions fight and take a mana pot if they get CE trigger happy. I however didn't like running out of mana after two summons in the early levels, so I think I may have put a hand full of points here. --- Girlfriends come and go, but Epics are soulbound. |

| Pacifickarma Posted 9/25/2008 11:11:41 AM | I wouldn't say that dexterity on a Necromancer is pointless. If you're using a shield with a high block percentage, such as the Homonculus, it can be useful. Your skeletons make great shields, but attackers and ranged shots sometimes get therough. I hope you're not relying on charms to get your str requirements, (aside from anni/torch) because you actually lose max life by doing that. Better to spend a few points on str than use a charm and put them in Vit. And I'm not saying this because I'm biased against the use of charms. It's fact, based on real actual numbers. 20 stat torch and anni Maras +20 str marrow walks and a breast plate enigma will give you all the strength you need. Add a Beast zerker and you have strength overkill. --- I end threads |
