A "New" Question About the Secret Garden (I Think)

| Oldskool_Rulez Posted 4/23/2008 8:45:03 PM | Has anyone ever eaten every piece of the fruit in the secret garden without reloading your file to regain your lost health and stamina? Well this is what i'm stumped about...I CAN'T GET BACK DOWN! I have tried to climb back down the way you come up, but run out of stamina very soon, and fall to my death. I have even jumped down the hole in the garden that leads to the main temple...but I still DIE! Has anyone successfully been able to get back down without dying? If so, please tell me how. I think there's more to the secret garden than any of us know. --- Jonny 5 | ||
| Kotomo Posted 4/23/2008 8:57:40 PM | I think you die from falling down those holes to the temple no matter what, anyway. When you climb down the side, do you let yourself drop distances you need to drop, or do you literally climb down? If nothing else, you could try landing on Agro's back. Wander might do that saddle grab if you can get it right. | ||
| Mookiethebold Posted 4/23/2008 8:58:39 PM | On hard mode you can use the Cloth of Desperation (if you've unlocked it, of course) to float back down after eating all the forbidden fruit and resetting your life and stamina to default. | Oldskool_Rulez Posted 4/24/2008 3:33:27 PM | The reason i'm trying this is because I have maxed out my health and stamina, and I have saved my game before the final colossus. I want to put my health and stamina back down so I can fight him to make it more of a challenge. (The only real challenge is getting to him, once you're on him, he's done.) Thanks, i'll try the drop-grab-drop-grab technique to get down and if all else fails, I'll just wait till I get the parachute cloak on Hard mode. I have 1 more quick question/statement. Right out front of the Shrine of Worship(a little to the right of the save statue, I was riding my horse and a hawk flew by, so I jumped up and grabbed it and did the "hump" technique. Well, it took me up and up slowly in circles and I finally fell. But, here's where things get wierd. As I fell, I aimed towards the main shrine entrance and I landed on the grassy alcove(I think that's what it's called) above the entrance. In this area, I was able to climb up the outer-shrine pretty high up, and found what looks like a type of stone-entrance in the wall...but the grass on the wall runs out, and I cant make it up there. Has anyone else reached this area? If so, have you found out how to get in that stone-type-entrance. It would help me a lot.( It seems that you can reach other grassy areas up here if you used the parachute cloak...but I dont have it yet.) Thanks again. --- Jonny 5 | ||
