| GF_Alt Posted 3/31/2009 9:08:45 PM | Yes, it is I, GF_Alt. I am the guy (or gal?) who originally leaked NightWolve's beta english patch over two years ago right here on GameFAQs. I have saved all of you guys money by releasing it for free. In return, I'd like you all to please send me donations. Just kidding. It would be absurd for me to charge money for someone else's work. Hmm, now why does that idea sounds so familiar....? Oh well..... --------------------------------- First of all, I would like to apologize to those who have been harassed by NightWolve in his relentless hunt to figure out my identity. I never would have imagined that he would have taken things so far. I don't regret or feel any guilt about what I did. If NightWolve suffered serious financial damage due to the leak, then that proves my point. He was relying on income from donations to support himself, and thus was using his "donation" system (explain to me how offering a piece of software in exchange for donation money is not the same as selling the software) from the supposedly freeware patch to make a profit. His true colors were shown in the aftermath as he lashed out at his supporters. I've even been told by some of his original donators that they have recently (TWO YEARS LATER. Let it go.) been harassed and accused by NightWolve regarding the original leak, in an attempt to flush out the leaker. Sounds like a great way to alienate the small few who still supported him. Well here I am, NightWolve. I've been looking for the past few days for ways to take this discussion directly to you, but it seems you have closed forum registration at your site: www.ysutopia.net I'm sure this post will find it's way to you eventually, so if you would like to continue this on your website, create a forum account for me and send the details to yspatchleak@gmail.com (fitting, eh?). I'm sure you wouldn't want to pass up an opportunity to log my IP. --------------------------------- Anyways, to stay on topic as to not violate the TOS, I think this game is great, especially when played with the english patch. Don't you guys? What is your favorite part of the game? My favorite is the part at the beginning where that one blue haired guy slaughters those wolves. |

| pruvmerong Posted 4/1/2009 10:45:08 AM | I'm glad I was shown a link to this thread, as I am now a supporter of gf alt. I too have been receiving harassing emails from Nightwolve lately. He seems convinced that I am "GF_Alt". As much as I'd like to take credit for this, I can't. Frankly, it has been over two years since the "incident", and I really couldn't care less about either side of the issue. That is, until Nightwolve decided to turn psycho and make an enemy of those who once supported him. I'll be keeping an eye on this whole thing to see how it turns out. |

I can hardly blame him, I wouldn't want to be up against me either. Instead, he has gone into "Internet Tough Guy" mode and went as far as declaring that I am Mr. Pruvmerong here on the front page of his website. My apologies, Pruv. Well NightWolve, I'm going to let you in on a little secret regarding my identity: I am not even on your donator list. I received the patch from a certain somebody on a small, private website about one week before the leak. And now you've gone and jumped to conclusions and made an (even bigger) ass of yourself. Regardless, I am not here to debate my identity. I am here to show you once and for all how you are to blame for all of this. Again, I would prefer to continue this somewhere else, and I have even been kind enough to offer you the home field advantage. Of course, I'll completely understand if you want to hide behind your front page rants, self-satisfied in the delusion that you have somehow "won". |
