| No plot is revealed at all in this game. Only little snippets of what could be considered theories are hidden throughout the story through quotes, combat animations and the text in your manual that points to Vergil.
- That "A voice echoed in my mind, power! Give me more power!"
- Dante entrusting Yamato to Nero
- Nero's Yamato DT with the sheath / summoned swords
- The DT itself doing Vergil-like moves when you Streak/RapidSlash
- The names of the enemies and bosses with the "Angelo" prefix would make Nero - Nero Angelo
- The text in the manual mentions the "black angel"
- Nero's strong urge to keep Yamato and protecting Kyrie, which could be compared to Vergil's quest for power and his deep resentment for not being able to protect his mother. |
