Should I be changing my clothes often?

| Evoco Posted 10/26/2008 10:09:35 AM | I notice even my gang members saying I smell or why am I wearing those clothes when I got blinged out gear from stores like Impressions and Branded. Am I supposed to be wearing different clothes every so often to keep the gang respectful? They do say positive things too, it's just the negative things come out of nowhere.... --- XBox Live Gamertag: OwnageMeter PSN Username: Fragmentation |
| wizlabear Posted 10/26/2008 10:11:18 AM | i must say i havent heard cany of the gang sayin that, but it could be the style u set the gang to, and then u wear different?? --- GT 'wizlabear' "woohoo moleman mysteries woop woooop " |
| GamesGodfather1 Posted 10/26/2008 10:14:49 AM | Yeah, people were telling me I smell and asking if I owned a washing machine, so I changed my clothes and it stopped. I'm guessing if you were the same clothes for too long they just say it. I don't think it effects respect or anything. Never had my own gang say it though. --- 92% of teenagers have turned to rap. | straussdc Posted 10/26/2008 10:15:06 AM | I think if you go a couple in game days (or missions maybe) without changing, random people will start insulting you. The compliments come with a high style rating. So if you have both a high style rating and haven’t changed clothes in awhile, you probably get a mix of insults and compliments. |
| HellSpirit Posted 10/26/2008 10:16:09 AM | My gang are always saying I smell rofl. Peds say the same things when I touch them like "now I need to go have a shower". I have my gang set to pimps and ho and I am dressed in a full Pimp outfit, so it's not the style. I think it's more to do with not changing enough. |
| epitaf Posted 10/26/2008 10:27:07 AM | if a gang member says it,just recruit ,shoot and repeat. --- as long as I have freedom of speech,no ones gonna shut me up. |
| GSWarriors- Posted 10/26/2008 11:43:27 AM | I notice that a message pops just saying i should change my clothes just like a message comes up when they tell me to pick up money at my cribs. i think if you change clothes when they tell you to then i think they'll say nicer things |

And that they'll just say it again soon enough anyway, so you can either spend half of your playing time in the wardrobe, or you can just wear whatever you want and ignore all the NPCs saying that you smell. Seriously, here's a big "**** you!" to Rockstar for introducing that lovely sandbox game feature with GTA: San Andreas. Unless some other game company did it before them that I don't know about. Then they get a big "**** you!" --- You learn something new every day. Usually, how dumb yet another person is. |
