How to get 9 followers *SPOILERS*

| Likwidlyric12 Posted 1/23/2009 11:37:33 AM | I now have an army....and out of the kindness of my heart will tell you all how to do it if you so desire. first off, you need to avoid grabbing followers until raven rock, because after getting the GECK, the enclave capture you and any followers you had will be gone, thus ruining the glitch/trick. Also, unless you only want 6, you need to avoid the big town & delcaration of independence mission till later. After escaping raven rock, fawkes will be outside fighting enclave, after he beats them, he will try to initiate a conversation fast travel BEFORE he is able to start talking to you. Head to underworld and pick up charon...he is key in all this. ( now you have 1 follower) after you have charon, fast travel back to raven rock, and allow fawkes to initiate the conversation, you need to have good karma, and he will join you regardless of charon being there. (now you have two followers) In the citadel find star paladin cross, in the dialouge options, pick the one that talks about your father, and *this is important* choose the option that says "i dont suppose I can stop you" at the end. Paladin will then join your party no matter who is there (now you have three followers) drop your karma to neutral and find rl3 by the robco building. You need to fire charon BEFORE talking to tinker joe, but have him close by so you can quickly rehire him after the automated conversation with rl3 begins upon purchase. (now you have 4 followers) drop your karma to evil...grab clover from paradise falls using the same method as before. (Fire charon, allow the automated conversation to occur, rehire charon) now you have 5 followers) for the sixth, you need to get dog meat, you can either keep him, or kill him if you want to grab jehrico. Be cautious, in my game when I killed him to get jehrico, he got pissed and started shooting me (guess he was a dog lover). A way around this is to kill dogmeat someplace far away, wait 3 days, then fast travel back to megaton. He was calm after that. (ok now you have 6) Red and shorty can be obtained once you rescue them from the police station (just never take them back to big town) they can wear power armor, take stimpacks, and wait/follow just like the others (you now have 8 followers) Sydney can be obtained from the declaration of independance mission...once she follows you, then just leave with her. (you now have 9 followers) There now you have a fallout 3 army....and can fight in your underwear without fear of death. --- Just pretend like something interesting is here. |

| papoose187 Posted 1/23/2009 12:01:31 PM | can i do this all, i got jericho 1st but after raven rock doesnt it just reset and i can do this also? or should i just start with jericho then get the rest of them and say screw charon? let me know |
| Likwidlyric12 Posted 1/23/2009 12:05:54 PM | charon is easier because he doesnt have a karma requirement, you can just fire/rehire him at will without any hassle. I say wait till after raven rock to be on the safe side. Its a chance the followers could return to where they were when you first got them after the enclave trap, but I havent experimented with that. --- Just pretend like something interesting is here. |
