Can you do anything besides zap people?
| Rich1631 Posted 5/22/2009 5:59:00 AM | Okay, I got to tell ya, I was really looking forward to the game due to all the hype and high reviews but after playing that demo I am less that impressed. No weapons? No vehicles? You just run around electrocuting people? I mean is that the only power that I can do? Because it seems like this will be a boring as hell game them. The mission with the train also seemed really repetitive...stand on top to move it...hop down & zap dudes...power the power...rinse & repeat 5 or 6 times. The graphics aren't even anything to right home about either. So, what I am saying is, gameplay wise is there more to do cause it isn't fun or exciting at all and it is so simplistic. I know you can upgrade your powers to do slightly different things but it is stilling "zapping" people and nothing else, right? | ||

But no all you do is zap people, he has electric powers, I mean I guess you can punch people and kick them so there is that as well. Bottom line is Nope all you do is zap people, just like in Resistence all you do is shoot people. And in Street Fighter all you do is hit people (well that and use special powers). There are zapping powers, there's the grenades that explore, there's the melee attacks, there's the ability to syphon or pin folks, there's a shield, a sniper mode, plus the ability to ride rails and power lines. Maybe you should play the demo, and look at the list of powers in the game itself, hmm? --- You might wonder why I'm back in my ship again. To get some peace and quiet, that's what! You have no idea how hard it is repopulating an entire species! | ||
| Rhen_Var Posted 5/22/2009 6:35:16 AM | Well, you can always save em'. The Demo is just a few missions anyway. I hear some positive feedback from the story and making choices so the demo isn't gonna help ya much. Or you can just try something else, like Prototype. |
