Copyright stuff; If you wish to use this FAQ on your website, feel free to do
so under the following conditions. a) You email me first and let me know where
it will be appearing and b) you do not alter the content in anyway (if you need
to change the formatting slightly for display purposes that's OK).
If I find out that any part of this FAQ has been lifted and used without credit
to me, especially if you use it to earn money, then I will be annoyed. I didn't
type all this up for the good of my health you know.
In compiling this guide to the Tekken Storyline I have used several sources,
which include magazines, websites and the games themselves. I've also used
material on Tekken and Martial Arts from my own site. Basically I've just tried
to bring all the existing material together in one concise document. I hope
this will be of specific interest to people who came to Tekken with the PS2
games Tekken Tag Tournament and now Tekken 4.
The following websites provided valuable data -
www.namco.com
www.namcoarcade.com
www.tekken.net
As did the following magazines -
Official UK Playstation Magazine - Beat 'em Ups Special (UK 1999)
Tekken 3 Playstation Strategy Guide (UK 1998)
Also -
Tekken the Movie (1998) This animated version of the events of Tekken 2 is not
entirely faithful to the games plotline, but it provide a useful background to
the Mishima family relationships, Dr. Boskonovitch, Jun Kazama and Roger and
Alex.
I am very keen on making this the most accurate and definitive history of
Tekken ever written. I would welcome any questions, contributions and even
points disagreeing with me from anyone. All contributions will be fully
credited, please contact me at the email address falsehead@aol.com

************************ INTRODUCTION/REVISIONS *************************
=========================================================================
INTRODUCTION - This is my attempt to sort out the complicated plotline behind
the successful Tekken Fighting games franchise. As the story has progressed to
its fourth "proper" installment, character relationships have become so complex
that players new to the series are understandably confused as to who is related
to who. Who has a grudge against who and why and many other questions that are
unrelated to the actual mechanics of the game.
I personally love the convoluted twists and turns the Tekken story has taken
over the years and think that's its adds a lot more depth to the game its self
to know so much about them. Purists may disagree with me, but I know from
questions asked me by newbies to the Tekken series that there is a demand for a
comprehensive guide to the games storyline. I have a large part of my own
website devoted to the Tekken series and regularly get emails about the
characters and also about the Martial Arts they use. So I have included a mini
guide to the martial arts of Tekken at the end of this document.
I have split this guide into sections. Firstly I have compiled a sort of
"Official History" of the King of Iron Fist Tournament, from the first Tekken
right up to Tekken 4. Then I have looked at every character to appear in the
Tekken series and provided them with a full summary of their progress through
the various games. I have also included an examination of the characters
endings in each game. Some of these endings directly contradict events in
other endings and so I have analyzed each one and given my opinion as to
whether or not that ending DID happen, or if it was a kind of "parallel"
universe ending - something not picked up later in the series.
Finally I have included a PLOT FAQ to basically explain my reasoning behind my
interpretations of the plot and the evidence I used to make those assumptions.
As a bonus I've also written a Martial Arts of Tekken guide. This is response
to many emails I got to my own website concerning the various systems used by
the characters in the game. I hope you find it interesting!
*************************************************************************
Contributor Data - I was totally amazed at the feedback I got. Not everyone
wanted a credit but I have to thank the following people.
Dave B - for his excellent guide to Vale Tudo, which I had only covered briefly
in the first version. Thanks for opening my eyes to this new fighting system.
Hay - for systematically going through the whole guide and pointing out several
typo's and errors as well as showing me areas where my Martial Arts Guide could
be made clearer and improved.
Cybertrooper - for giving me more information on several of the Martial Arts
styles.
XxOrochiFlamexX - for keeping me updated in the latest Time Release Characters
and adding some alternate ideas about the fate of Lee Chaolan.
Rob Gallimore - For some excellent info on TKD and some Tekken triva.
Apollo Latimer - for lots of info on Tekken Tag Tournament
John Bass - For his thoughtful ideas about Jun and Kazuya's relationship.
**************************************************************************
REVISIONS - Version 1 (29/07/2001): First version. Have covered all PSX
Tekken's.
Also added ten characters worth of info for Tekken 4 and the storyline.
Version 1.5 (05/09/2001): Added info for two time-release characters, Jin
Kazama and
"Violet". Added much more Vale Tudo info to Martial Arts FAQ and corrected
some mistakes and made some stuff clearer. Also have altered Lee Chaolans entry
in
anticipation of him being revealed as Violet.
Version 1.6 (20/09/2001): Added info for Nina, the next time-release character.
Am also planning an Alternate Viewpoints for the next update. "Violet"
confirmed
as Lee Chaolan by XxOrachiFlamexX.
Version 1.7 (27/09/2001): Added updated Tekken 4 info for Lei Wulong and Bryan
Fury. Put some alternate viewpoints from FAQ readers in the "My Reasoning"
part
of the guide. Also added new info to mini martial arts guide - the Capoeira
and
Tae Kwon Do sections.
Version 1.8 (10/10/2001): Added updated Tekken 4 info for Julia Chang and
Kuma/Panda.
Version 1.9 (20/10/2001): Added a Tekken Tag Tournament section to the
Alternative
Viewpoints part of the FAQ.
Version 2.0 (01/11/01): Added profile for Combot and updated Lee Chaolan and
Heihachi's profiles with new Tekken 4 information.
Version 2.1 (28/03/2002): Well the PS2 version of Tekken 4 has finally come
out in Japan. I haven't got access to the final FMV scenes yet but will start
posting them as soon as I do. If you want to send me information and your
thoughts on these endings, please do, but I am unlikely to contract definitive
assessment of them until the US version is released.
In the meantime I have added extensive info on Tekken Tag Tournament, which has
just got a platinum/budget range release, as well as some more interesting
theories from my email.
On the subject of emails, I always and try and answer everything I get sent (if
its not dumb flame mail). But occasionally when I am away and using AOL
Anywhere it likes to lose or delete my messages, so apologies if you wrote and
never got a reply. Please feel free to write to me again!
Version 3.0 (9/11/2002): I just saw how long it was since I last updated, been
too long! For reasons that are too boring to get into I only got my hands on
the PS2 version of Tekken 4 in the last week or so. It was worth the wait
though =) So I have now added all the characters featured in Tekken 4's
endings to there biogs. Now you have probably noticed that with Tekken 4 each
character is shown after to win the tournament. Well they can't all have won
it, so I have added a new section called "Tekken 5??" This is a forum for me to
keep tabs on news about the next installment, cogitate about what plot lines I
think it will follow and also launch my campaign for the return of Gun Jack!
Also check out the other new section "Tekken for Dummies", which is a meant as
a quick overview of the series for new and confused players.
========================================================================
***************** THE STORY OF THE IRON FIST TOURNAMENT ****************
========================================================================
I have not included Tekken Tag Tournament in the story guide as it is
considered by Namco to be outside of the Tekken Story canon. Merely a
"greatest hits" updated compilation of characters from the 32 bit games.
It has its own section later in the guide.
But this guide is intended to explain the characters back-story so would
be of great help to those confused by all the new characters (if they had only
played Tekken 3 before) and their relationships to each other.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
****************** a) TEKKEN - The story begins.... *******************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
A worldwide martial arts competition was announced, the "Tekken" or Iron Fist
tournament. A large purse of prize money, which was to be awarded to the
fighter
who could defeat Heihachi Mishima in the final round provided incentive for
warriors from all over the globe to enter.
Financed and sponsored by the giant financial groups, the Mishima Zaibatsu
(Financial Empire) - of which Heihachi was the head of - the first Tekken
tournament began with sixteen fighters, all with different motives for entering
the championship.
* Paul Phoenix - American Judo fighter, in the tournament to prove he is the
best fighter of all.
* Kazuya Mishima - Son of Heihachi, a karate champ intent on taking over the
old man's business empire.
* Michelle Chang - Native American fist fighter. Heihachi's men trashed her
village and killed her father, she seeks revenge.
* Nina Williams - Irish assassin and master of Hapkido. Out to kill Kazuya.
* Marshall Law - The Jeet Kune Do master, out to win the title.
* King - Mysterious Mexican wrestler, who hides under a jaguar mask.
* Yoshimitsu - Ninja warrior out to earn big prize money.
* Jack - Russian Cyborg sent by the Russians to kill Heihachi
* Kuma - a big bear who hates Paul
* Ganryu - dishonourable sumo hired by Heihachi.
* Anna Williams - another Hapkido fighter, and arch rival to her sister.
* Lee Chaolan - Heihachi's adopted son. Master of JKD and karate.
* Wang Jinery - Old Chinese man, friend to Heihachi's father.
* Kunimitsu - Rival of Yoshimitsu and also a master ninja. After Michelles
ancestral treasure.
* Amour King - Kings mentor and sparring partner.
* P.Jack - Heihachi's Jack Cyborg, in the tournament to take out Jack.
Many battles were fought. But only one warrior emerged with the right to
challenge Heihachi Mishima for the title King of the Iron Fists. This warrior
was Kazuya Mishima, Heihachi's long lost son. Bearing the scar across his chest
given to him by Heihachi, he enters into vicious combat with his father on the
same field where Heihachi had struck down his own son and dropped him over a
cliff at the age of eight.
After a gruelling battle, which raged on for hours, Kazuya emerged victorious.
His skill augmented by the power of the devil he accepted inside him at an
early age. As Heihachi's broken body lay on the ground, Kazuya dropped to his
knees and slowly lifted his father into his arms. Walked slowly to the edge of
the same cliff where his father had left him to die, he gently let go of his
father's body. As Heihachi's body plummeted out of sight, Kazuya's smile
gleamed in the sunlight...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
******************** b) TEKKEN 2 - Heihachi's Revenge ******************
------------------------------------------------------------------------
One year has passed. The Mishima Zaibatsu (conglomerate) under Kazuya's
leadership has become even more powerful with its tendrils reaching to all
corners of the world. Soon after his father's apparent death, Kazuya disappears
into the shadows. However, rumours of his immense power, and a dark side,
slowly begin to spread throughout the world.
Exactly one year after the end of the first Tekken, a message is relayed from
the Mishima Zaibatsu fortress to news agencies all over the world announcing a
second tournament with a prize a thousand times that of the first.
So begins the tournament... all the previous fighters had returned and were
joined by some new faces.
* Lei Wulong - Hong Kong Cop on the trail of Bruce Irvin. Lei is a skilled Kung
Fu fighter and has a huge array of moves.
* Jun Kazama - Bushido fighter sent to investigate the Mishima Corporation.
* Baek Do San - Tae Kwon Do fighter sent by Kazuya to trash Marshall's dojo.
* Bruce Irvin - Corrupt cop and kick-boxing champion.
* Roger and Alex - A boxing kangaroo and dinosaur.
* Devil/Angel - the manifestations of the light and dark sides of Kazuya's
nature
The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2 Draws to a close. Jun Kazama comes to the
stunning realization that Kazuya's supernatural strength stems from Devil. But
she cannot help being drawn to him, propelled by a mystic force beyond her
control [hmm]. Several days later, the final challenger arrives to face Kazuya,
the organizer of the King of Iron Fist Tournament 2. It's Heihachi.
In a reprise of the first Tekken Tournament, the father and son clash in a
vicious battle. Eventually, Heihachi emerges scarred but victorious to regain
control of the immense Mishima Conglomerate. Unaware of Devil's presence,
Heihachi casts the lifeless Kazuya into a fiery volcano.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
******************* c) TEKKEN 3 - The Next Generation.****************
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As Kazuya's body burns, the Devil appears before the pregnant Jun Kazama in a
bid to enter the soul of the new life beating within her. But in a desperate
struggle for the future of her child, Jun defeats Devil and retires to desolate
Yakushima to raise Kazuya's son, Jin, alone.
Having regained control of the Mishima Conglomerate, Heihachi sets about to
further increase his powers. He embarks on a crusade to win the trust of world
leaders by putting wars and conflicts to rest. Using his immeasurable wealth,
he forms Tekkenshu, a mercenary group employed to quell conflicts efficiently.
He also takes a strong interest in the well being of developing nations by
helping them build agricultural systems that will sustain them. Through
Heihachi's efforts, the world appears to be regaining peace.
Around fifteen years have passed and Jin Kazama is now 15 years old.
Under Heihachi's orders, the Tekkenshu (Tekken Force) are excavating a Central
American archaeological site when they discover a mysterious life form.
Heihachi orders the creature's capture, but loses contact with the Tekkenshu
after a garbled radio message, "... they are all dead... Toshin (Fighting
God)?!..."
Upon arriving at the dig, Heihachi finds a field of corpses. Heihachi is
wracked by sorrow, but also realizes that the power of the mysterious life form
could be the key to his long dormant dream of world domination. To obtain this
mysterious power of Toshin (Ogre), and the world, Heihachi tempts the fates
once again...
Within weeks, strange disappearances occur throughout the world. Persons of
strong soul, masters of martial arts and other derivative fighting disciplines
are reported missing... with no knowledge of their whereabouts. Baek Do-San,
King, Lee Chaolan and Wang Jinery are just some of the fighters who have
disappeared.
Jin Kazama is now a young man of 15. Though he and his mother Jun live
peacefully in the mountains, her intuition warns of impending danger. She tells
Jin of a tremendous power seeking their lives. Jun explains the story of his
father, grandfather and the Tekken Tournaments. Fearful of the future she
tells Jin to go to Heihachi if anything should happen to her.
One dark and stormy night, Jun's fears are proved correct. Ogre comes to the
mountains on a chill wind. The last thing Jin hears before losing
consciousness are his mothers words.. "Run, run far away!".
Next morning Jin wakes up in the wreckage of their house. Everything is burned
up and Jun is nowhere to be found. Jun has died at Ogre's hands. Honouring her
instructions, Jin goes to Heihachi and begs to be trained in order exact
revenge. Heihachi, hearing Jin's tale, is convinced that Ogre is after the
souls of powerful fighters. To attract Ogre, Heihachi decides to host the King
of Iron Fist Tournament 3.
Four years later, on Jin Kazama's 19th birthday, the curtains rise for the King
of Iron Fist Tournament 3. Heihachi decides to use him as bait to entice out
Ogre so he could then use a pendant owned by Michelle Chang to control it.
(Michelle had recently disappeared on a visit to Heihachi).
Old names Nina and Anna reappear after having been frozen by scientist Dr. B.
They awaken 19 years later still in their early twenties, Nina now missing her
memory. Paul Phoenix and Lei Wulong, both in their forties also return to
settle
old scores. Yoshimitsu is out for Ogres blood to help Dr. B cure himself, but
the rest of the cast is made up a unfamiliar faces.
* Jin Kazama - Karate fighter and son of Kazuya and Jun. After revenge for his
mothers death.
* Hwoarang - Student of Baek, a Tae Kwon Do fighter out to avenge his master
and get back at Jin who beat him in a fight.
* Julia Chang - Adopted daughter of Michelle, out to investigate her mothers
disappearance.
* Kuma 2 - Son of the original Kuma who also hates Paul.
* Ling Xiaoyu - Barmy 16 year old Chinese master of Wu Shu. Heihachi will build
her a theme park if she wins.
* Eddy Gordo - Brazilian Capoeira fighter. Suspects the Mishima corporation may
help him find out who killed his dad.
* King 2 - Orphan raised by the original King, out to avenge his death.
* Gon - Stumpy little dragon out to prove it's toughness.
* Forest Law - son of Marshall. Out to win some cash and glory
* Gun Jack - combination of Jack 2 and P.Jack. Jane wants to find his human
program so Gun Jack enters the tournament to get it.
* Bryan Fury - Undead police Officer. Being chased down by Lei, he was killed
then bought back to life by Doctor Abel. Under Dr. Abels command he is
targeting Yoshmitsu.
* Mokujin - a training dummy come to life. Its motives are unknown.
* Dr Boskonovitch - Ethically dubious scientist out to retrieve Ogres blood to
cure his daughter and himself. Froze Nina and Anna after Tekken 2.
* Ogre - the god of fighting who transforms into True Ogre as the final boss.
Jin Kazama defeats Heihachi and then destroys Ogre and True Ogre. Angry that
Ogre had been destroyed Heihachi gunned down Jin. Unfortunately this triggered
the emergence of the diabolical powers of his father Kazuya. Sprouting wings
he transformed into a devil and flew away...leaving Heihachi to reflect on his
failure.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
***************** d) TEKKEN 4 - Kazuya is back.. again *****************
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Two years ago, Heihachi failed to capture Ogre.
Not willing to give up, Heihachi ordered his researchers to collect blood
samples, skin tissue, and hoof fragments left behind by Ogre (known as True
Ogre in its true manifestation) in order to conduct genetic experiments.
Heihachi's goal was to create a new life form by splicing Ogre's genome with
his own. However, the research was unsuccessful.
After extensive experimentation, Heihachi's bioengineers came to the conclusion
that an additional gene - the Devil Gene - was necessary in order to
successfully splice Ogre's genetic code into another living organism. Heihachi
learned that his own genome lacked the Devil Gene, but he knew someone who
did...Jin Kazama.
Jin's whereabouts were unknown after the events of Tekken 3.
Heihachi searched for Jin to no avail. However, Heihachi discovered a
photograph during his investigation that stirred his curiosity. The 20-year-old
photograph was an image of a burnt corpse covered with laceration wounds.
Heihachi paid particular attention to the corpse's back, which had what looked
like deformed, protruding wing-like limbs.
Convinced that the picture was of Kazuya, his own son whom he threw into a
volcano 20 years ago, Heihachi diverted all his resources into a search for the
body. This search eventually led Heihachi to G Corporation, a leading-edge
biotech firm making unprecedented advances in the field of biogenetics
research.
Heihachi discovered that G Corporation found the corpse and extracted and
analysed its genetic data. In fact, Heihachi learned that the company was in
the midst of creating a new life form by using the data. Heihachi also
determined that Kazuya's remains and research data were secured at G
Corporation's Nebraska and Nepal research laboratories, respectively.
Friday, 25 December. The Tekken Force raided G Corporation's maximum-security
research laboratory in Nepal. The bottom floors of the building were
obliterated, and the remaining data storage facility containing file servers
was airlifted by a group of heavy-duty helicopters.
At the same time, a separate unit led by Heihachi infiltrated the underground
research facility in Nebraska, where Kazuya's remains were preserved. As
Heihachi observed from his helicopter, he soon realized that unlike the Nepal
facility, the operations in Nebraska were not going according to plan. The
tactical status monitor screens showed the first wave of the Tekken Force
troops being blown out from the storage room where Kazuya's remains were
supposedly kept.
A silhouette of a large figure slowly emerged from the room... When Heihachi
could see clearly enough, he instantly recognized the large figure as Kazuya.
Kazuya was resurrected in G Corporation's research facility. After his
resurrection, Kazuya offered his body as research material to determine the
true nature of the Devil that resided within him. Kazuya's goal was to unify
his two selves into one. Kazuya theorized that if he unified his body with the
Devil, he would be able to truly harness its powers. He could then finally take
revenge against Heihachi and the Mishima Zaibatsu (Financial Empire).
Enraged that Heihachi thwarted his plans, Kazuya obliterated the heavily armed
Tekken Force and vanished into the flames of the lab's wreckage. Heihachi was
infuriated by Kazuya's escape and took out his anger on his hapless
subordinates who reported the escape.
Dr. Abel, now Heihachi's lead scientific advisor, urged the enraged Heihachi to
quickly find a way to capture Kazuya. Once his anger subsided, Heihachi focused
his mind and decided on a plan. An evil smile crept upon his lips.
Two years had passed since The King of Iron Fist Tournament 3.
The Mishima Zaibatsu announced The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4 and placed
the massive financial empire as the top prize. The champion who manages to
defeat Heihachi at the end of the Tournament would inherit the Mishima
Zaibatsu.
Well aware that the tournament is just a trap designed to lure him out, Kazuya
nevertheless enters - it is his chance to defeat Heihachi...

=======================================================================
******************** 3) THE CHARACTERS IN-DEPTH ***********************
=======================================================================
For each character I have traced their history though the Tekken games and
analysed their endings. I have given my opinion on whether or not each ending
happened and also tried to tie up some loose ends left by the gaps between the
games. I have tried to confirm all the information from Official Namco
material, but when I have made a conjecture of my own I have clearly stated
this fact.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
********************** a) Dr. Boskonovitch ****************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Prologue: Dr. Boskonovitch was a leading scientist of the former USSR. At the
age of 12, he designed a new type of ballistic missile, and instantly became
famous in the scientific world. After losing his own daughter, Boskonovitch has
been doing research on human resurrections and cold-sleep machines. Through
these experiments, he became active in cloning and the creation of androids,
such as Jack. In these projects he worked with Dr. Abel, but he disliked Abel,
who he regarded as power-hungry and dangerous.
He works only to revive his daughter and is willing to go to any lengths to
achieve that goal. However he had some qualms about the use his Jack Androids
were been put to. He buried inside one of these droids a "humanity" programme,
the idea being that in situations of extreme stress the Jack's would gain
morality and could not act as indiscriminate killing machines.
After the first King of Iron Fist tournament, he was captured by Kazuya Mishima
and was forced to do genetic research pertaining to martial artists and
genetically engineered android soldiers. However his first experiments
resulted in the fighting Kangaroo and Raptor, Roger and Alex. More research
under the watchful eye of Lee Chaolan resulted in more ferocious reptile
fighters. However, during this time he was also able to created a new type of
cold-sleep machine.
During the second Iron Fist Tournament he saved Yoshimitsu's life and gave him
a new biomechanical arm. In return for this Boskonovitch himself was saved
from the Mishimas by Yoshimitsu.
TEKKEN 3: Now, Boskonovitch is infected with a mysterious disease. In order to
cure himself and to revive his daughter, he needs the blood of the fighting
god. He is the only man in the world who knows the truth behind the mysterious
fighting god in this tournament. He asks Yoshimitsu to help him out and
Yoshimitsu agrees to enter to gain Ogres Blood, but to increase his chances he
also enters.
ENDING: After Jin splattered True Ogre all over the place, they were able to
gain a sample of Ogres Blood. Taking it back to Boskonovitch secret lab they
test it out on a rat to see its effects. The rat grows to humoungous size!
Clearly it is potent stuff...maybe Dr. B can use it's power to realise the
dream of reviving his daughter and curing himself... [This ending happened]
TEKKEN 4: Dr Boskonavitch is not a combatant in Tekken 4, but he appears in
Bryan Furys end movie. He and Yoshimitsu plan to use Bryan in their fight
against Dr. Abel.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
************************* b) Julia Chang ******************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN 3: Julia studies archaeology in Michelle Chang's tribal lands. As a
baby, Julia was deserted in the ruins of ancient Native American settlements,
where Michelle found her. Michelle rescued Julia and brought her up with love.
Julia loved Michelle and her adopted tribe and trained with Michelle to protect
her beloved homeland.
When Julia was 18, stories of sudden disappearances of famous martial artists
all over the world began to reach the tribe. The tribe knew the cause, which
was contained in the tribal legends...the legend of the God of Fighting. People
in the tribe feared that Michelle's pendant, the key to a Native American
sacred treasure, had something to do with the disappearances.
With apprehension spreading through the tribe, Michelle left for Japan to ask
Heihachi why he had sought to take the pendant during the second tournament.
Michelle hoped to learn about the origin of the God of Fighting's power.
Michelle did not return. Julia suspected Heihachi and now seeks him out to
discover the truth.
ENDING: Julia beats Ogre, but leaves before Ogre transforms. She is still
worried about what has become of her mother and calls frantically for her.
Michelle staggers out of the temple where the fight took place. She has
recovered the pendant - the treasure of her people - that Heihachi wanted to
use to control Ogre. Angrily Julia shouts, "I'll never let Heihachi get away
with this!" But Michelle has also seen how hatred can warp a good soul though
the previous Tekken Tournaments. Reminding Julia that it is better to protect
life and not destroy, they return to their tribal home in Arizona. [This ending
happened]
TEKKEN 4: Two years have past since the destruction of Ogre. Julia was now a
college student studying archaeology. One day, she discovered that her native
homeland was in danger of being covered by an encroaching desert; this was
brought on by today's rapidly changing global ecosystem. Julia wanted to save
her home, and she began her studies on ecosystem restoration.
Julia joined an advanced genetic research group led by Professor T that studied
the biological mechanism of reforestation. Professor T's research grant came
almost exclusively from G Corporation. In fact, G Corporation's supercomputers
located at their high security research center were used for computationally
intensive biogenetic analysis and ecosystem modeling. All their project data
was stored on G Corporation's file servers as well.
Julia was absorbed in her daily research, waiting for the day when her work
on ecosystem restoration would be complete. When her project was completed,
she would save her home.
One day, Julia learned from Professor T that their project was on hold
indefinitely. The Mishima Zaibatsu attacked G Corporation's high security
research center and stole all their project data. Julia didn't know a thing
about G Corporation's secret research projects nor did she care about them.
Yet she knew that she had to retrieve her data from the Mishima Zaibatsu in
order to save her home from becoming a desert in a few years time.
Julia searched the net to gather information regarding the Mishima Zaibatsu.
Her eyes lit up when she saw a web page announcing The King of Iron Fist
Tournament 4.
ENDING: "Julia won the tournament and took over Mishima Zaibatsu. She gained
access not only to her lost research material but also to Mishima Zaibatsu's
cutting edge technology including the G-Corporations research data. Julia's
hopes for reforestation grew"
Sat in the lab Julia comes cross the Genocell data. Genocell was created from
her data on making a biological organism that can quickly reforest barren
landscapes. But she makes the disturbing discovery that this is not the only
use it has. Dr. Abel appears behind her and explains that Genocell can be used
to stabilise a combination of the human and devil genes. Without Genocell the
devil genes destroyed the humans ones, but altogether they would create super
human creatures.
Julia is shocked by this revelation and ignores Dr. Abels pleas to join him in
his research. She makes the decision to delete all her research data on
Genocell. Enraged Dr. Abel fires upon her but she nimbly avoids him. With the
data destroyed, she returns to the USA vowing to find another way to reforest
her beloved home.

*********************** c) Michelle Chang *****************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN: Michelle Chang is a young Native American girl, who lives in a small
village with her mother and father. Her father is an archaeologist studying
Native American Legends relating to amongst other things, The Legend of the God
of Fight. On an excavation he recovers a pendant which would seem to be
related to this legend. Unfortunately Heihachi gets to hear about this and
sends his men to Michelle's village. They trash the place and kill her father.
But they do no recover the pendant, Michelle's Father gave it to her for safe
keeping.
Vowing revenge, Michelle enters the First Iron Fist tournament. During the
tournament she is targeted by the mysterious Ninja, Kunimitsu, who has also
heard of the pendant. Michelle Chang beats the snot out of Kunimitsu,
unfortunately she does not make to Heihachi before Kazuya lobs him over a
cliff. Still she feels some satisfaction at the outcome and returns home.
ENDING: Michelle approaches her village where her Mother waits for her. [This
happened]
TEKKEN 2: After Tekken, Kunimitsu told Kazuya about the power of Michelle's
pendant. Kazuya decides he would like to see this pendant himself and try and
unlock the secret of the God of Fight. He sends Ganryu over to kidnap
Michelle's Mother. Michelle returns home and finds her home wrecked and her
mother gone. A note demands she bring the pendant to the second Iron Fist
Tournament. So off she goes. She is matched against Ganryu during the
Tournament and after beating him to a pulp he confesses that he kidnapped her
mother and gives Michelle the address of where she is being held. Michelle
braks her mother out and returns home before the tournament ends.
ENDING: Michelle stands by a lake. She hurls the pendant into the water. It
will cause no more trouble for her now. [This ending MAY have happened.
However Michelle either had second thoughts and got it back or Heihachi somehow
discovered it. I vote the former]
TEKKEN 3: Michelle at some point recovers the pendant. She also adopts an
abandoned child who she names Julia and trains her to be a powerful fighter as
well as passionate environmentalist and archaeologist. Word of the excavations
and subsequent deaths of a squad of Heihachi's men at a sacred Native American
site reaches Michelle. After also hearing rumours about the disappearances of
the Martial Arts experts around the world she puts two and two together and
realise something bad has happened.
She decides to go and confront Heihachi about his plans relating to the God of
Fight, realising the pendant might be linked to this she takes it with her. If
she can't stop Heihachi, she may be able to use it to stop the God of Fight
claiming anymore lives. But soon after leaving for Japan she disappears.
Heihachi captures her and imprisons her, demanding she give up the secret of
the pendant. She refuses. Heihachi is then distracted by the appearance of
Ogre and takes Michelle to Ogres temple to try and force her to use the pendant
to control Ogre there and then. However Michelle escapes, hiding out in the
forest she sees Julia enter the Temple for a final showdown with Ogre. Weak
from her imprisonment she staggers up to the top.
When she gets there she hears Julia calling her name. She collapses in Julia's
arms and explains that Heihachi had tried to use her and the pendant to control
Ogre. Julia is angry and wants to take revenge on Heihachi, but Michelle
cautions against hatred and anger. Not far away Ogre is stirring again after
his beating by Julia. Something tells Michelle that the Ogre Julia conquered
is not the true form of the God of Fight. They decide to leave and go back to
their home in Arizona.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
************************* d) Lee Chaolan ******************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN: After Kazuya was thrown into a ravine at the age of ten, Heihachi
decided to adopt another son. Lee Chaolan was chosen to train under Heihachi
and run parts of the family business when he was older. Lee however lacked his
father's drive to become the most powerful fighter on the planet though
training and being in touch with ones "Tekken". He preferred the cut and
thrust of the business world. When the Iron Fist tournament was announced, Lee
knew it would bring Kazuya back to confront his father. Matched up against
Kazuya in the penultimate round Lee made a deal with Kazuya, he would step
aside in return for Kazuya keeping Lee on within the Mishima Empire. Kazuya
realised he could have defeated lee, but saw he needed allies if his goal of
taking over the whole Mishima corporation was to be realised. After he
disposed of his father he placed lee in charge of much of the day to day
running of the Mishima Corporation while he retreated into the shadows.
TEKKEN 2: Lee Chaolan has taken special interest in the artificial and
genetically engineered fighters projects being undertaken by Dr. Unfortunately
none of them are very successful, though lee still believes in the superiority
of genetically enhanced fighters over trained ones. After two years in exile,
Heihachi returns to confront Kazuya in the second King of iron Fist Tournament.
Lee now has to fight his adoptive father in the penultimate round. Lee had
become worried about Kazuyas increasingly eccentric and frightening behaviour
and fears for the future of the corporation. He tries to strike a deal with
Heihachi, throwing the fight to allow him to carry on to Kazuya in full health.
Heihachi rejects him and expresses his disgust with his adoptive son. He tells
Lee that he was always second to Kazuya. He only adopted Lee to make Kazuya
more angry and train harder to become a great fighter. Lee's lack of
commitment to fighting and his constant wheedling betrayals have proved him
unworthy of the Mishima name. He brushed Lee aside and carries on to confront
his son.
ENDING: Lee celebrates the defeat of Heihachi and Kazuya who languish in a
cell. He is now the head of the corporation. [this certainly didn't happen]
TEKKEN 4: After he betrayed Heihachi and sided with Kazuya at The King of Iron
Fist Tournament 2, Lee was expelled from the Mishima Zaibatsu.
For quite sometime, thoughts of revenge consumed Lee. Eventually, he realized
that it was pointless to kill an old man who probably had only a few years left
in his life at best. With that realization, Lee distanced himself from fighting
and moved to a mansion in the Bahamas to lead a solitary life.
One day, he discovered a huge sell-off of G Corporation's stock online. Lee's
intuition told him that something happened within the company. His intuition
was correct. He hacked into their classified computer network and accessed
their internal corporate communications. Lee learned that the Mishima Zaibatsu
attacked G Corporation and caused significant damage to their research
facilities.
He also came across information that a new life form under development by the
Mishima Zaibatsu would be completed by next year. In order to complete the life
form, however, it appeared that they were missing a critical component...
Oddly enough, an announcement was made for The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4
around the same time. Lee's fading passion for fighting was rekindled - along
with his resentment towards the Mishima clan.
In order to prevent the Mishima Zaibatsu from discovering his true identity,
Lee signed up for the Tournament online under a false name. As an additional
measure to mask his identity, he dyed his gleaming silver hair purple.
(For more history of Lee during the time between Tekken 2 and 4 see the entry
for "Violet")
ENDING: Lee stands triumphant after winning the final round of the tournament.
He thanks the crowd and tells them he was also using the Tournament to gain
data from his latest creation, the fighting robot, Combot. He calls to Combot
to come out and give the crowd a demonstration. Combot appears, but much to
Lee's irritation he trips over his feet and falls down the steps.
"Lee won the tournament and finally realised his dream of becoming Mishima
Zaibatsu's CEO. The first Combot had a bug due to hasty development. Lee
transferred the Combot development program to the Mishima research labs. He
spent large sums of money and gathered many brilliant scientists together to
create a new prototype.."
Lee sits in the CEOs chair and sips a glass of brandy. A sexy secretary
approaches him with the latest test data on Combot. It has been tested on
Heihachi, and 10.2 seconds into the test it did a 50 hit combo on him.
Heihachi was powerless to do anything. This pleases Lee greatly, mwahahahaa!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
****************************** e) Combot ******************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN 4: Combot is a general-purpose humanoid robot that Lee Chaolan entered
in The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4 as a part of his scheme to win.
Combot is unlike any other humanoid robots developed to date. Besides its
default set of motor functions, a powerful learning AI function enables it to
mimic perfectly any human motion captured on its mocap sensor arrays. With this
ability, Combot is suitable for a wide spectrum of applications from childcare,
housekeeping, service industries, and even military duty.
However, this Combot is a unique version customized for hand-to-hand combat. In
fact, its development was rushed so that it could be finished in time for the
Tournament.
Lee Chaolan's plan was to have Combat memorize a variety of fighting styles as
it progressed through the Tournament. His ultimate goal was to create the most
powerful hand-to-hand combat weapon in the world and win the Mishima Zaibatsu
at the same time.
Unfortunately, the development team did not have sufficient time to debug
Combot. As a result, a few bugs remained in its memory subsystems when the
Tournament started. These bugs prevent Combot from mimicking more than one
person's moves each time it is powered up.
ENDING: Combot stands triumphant in the arena. Lee appears clapping, "You did
well Combot. Now the world is mine for the taking." Combot turns and holds
out his arms to embrace Lee and Lee does likewise. But instead of a hug,
Combot grabs Lee and smacks him on the ass. The final smack sends Lee
sprawling across the arena. Then he performs Kings victory pose. Thumbs down
for Lee!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
************************ f) Baek Doo-San *****************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN 2: Baek Doo-San was a talented 27 year-old Korean Tai Kwon Do expert.
He had a troubled past though. When he was younger he accidentally killed his
father in training. After this tragedy he fell into a kind of denial. Full of
anger against the world he made his living fighting for money until Kazuya
spotted his potential and hired him. Baek's first job was to drive Marshall
Law's Dojo out of business and hopefully seriously injure Marshall himself.
Baek went to Marshalls dojo and trashed the place injuring many of Marshalls
students. But Marshall himself wasn't there. Baek left the place in ruins and
returned to Kazuya. Marshall discovered that Baek was responsible and entered
the second Iron Fist Tournament to take his revenge. Baek happily went up
against Marshall, but was totally and utterly beaten. Marshall was so angry
about what Baek had done that he nearly killed Baek. But at the last minute
Marshall stopped himself. He demanded to know why Baek had done what he did.
Baek tells Marshall that he resented Marshall's success, his happiness. He had
lost his father in training, and with that his reason to live.
Marshall feels sorry for Baek, he knew of his father and respected him. He
tells Baek that his father would not have wanted him to live his life in this
way. Chastened Baek returns to Kazuya only to witness the Devil consuming him.
Terrified Baek flee's.
ENDING: Baek sits on a park bench and looks at a photo of himself and his
father together. Having seen how hatred and resentment had consumed and
destroyed Kazuya he realises he must take a different path in life. He smiles,
reconciled to making a new start. [This happened]
TEKKEN 3: After the second Iron Fist tournament, Baek sets up his own Tai Kwon
Do school. He has some exceptional students including a young redheaded man
called Hwoarang. He indulges their extra-curricular money making schemes, but
runs an honourable school. He is loved and respected by his pupils. One night
though as he is leaving the school alone, he is confronted by a large monster
(Ogre). He fights it, but it is no use. Baek dies at the hands of Ogre and
his soul is absorbed.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
************************* g) Steve Fox *******************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN 4: Steve Fox is a new fighter to the tournament. He is 21 years old and
is a boxing champion from Britain.
As a young British boxer enjoying his run as the world middleweight champ,
Steve Fox was at the top of his game. He had everything he wanted, except for
one thing - his past. Adopted in his infancy, Steve never knew the identity of
his biological parents or the origin of the scar on his arm.
One day, Steve is ordered to throw a fight by a Mafia betting high stakes on
the fight. Steve refused to cooperate and won the fight regardless of the
threats made against him.
[Um.. the Mafia.. in England.. a touch unrealistic even for Tekken!!]
Unfortunately, the Mafia made good on their threats and put a price on Steve's
head. With the Mafia in hot pursuit, Steve fled England for the United States
to lead the life of a marked man. But no matter where he hid, he could not
completely shake the Mafia henchmen.
Steve realized that no matter what he did, the Mafia would eventually catch up
and kill him. No one would ever know that he was killed, nor would he ever
learn the truth about his past. With this realization, Steve decides to put
himself in the limelight again and enters The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4.
ENDING: Steve winds the tournament, but Heihachi tells Abel of his plan to
cheat him. "Fortunately for us Steve has an assassin gunning for him. We'll
take advantage of the situation. Kill Steve by serving him up to the
assassin."
Steve is given access to the information on his parentage and is shown that he
was conceived via IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation) when his mother was in cryo
sleep. Then he is shown footage of Nina at a prior Tekken (Tekken 2 by the
look of the costume).
Data on his father is not forthcoming. He goes back to his hotel. As he gets
out his body guards try to kill him. But Nina snipes the guns out of their
hands from the window opposite (she has discovered she is his mother from the
Syndicates info). She then drops down and runs off. Steve chases her down a
blind alley. She points a gun at him but does not shoot. "You're..." he
starts to say, but then Lei appears and points a gun at Nina. Steve knocks him
down and Nina runs off much to Steve's distress.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
************************* h) Bryan Fury *******************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN 3: Bryan Fury, an officer in the International Police Organization was
killed in a shoot-out in Hong Kong. In his former life, Bryan was known as a
skilful detective, but on the other side, he was always followed by dark
rumours. Investigating the Hong Kong drug trade, Lei Wulong discovered that
Fury had connections with drug dealers.
Bryan's corpse was transported to the laboratory of a man named Dr. Abel. This
88-year-old scientist was fairly famous in the underground scientific
community, but his findings were often preceded by Dr. Boskonovitch's. However,
with Fury, he came to the last step of completing his master project... the
Cyborg Army.
Dr Abel realised that a perfect Cyborg must have the mechanics built by his
rival, Dr. Boskonovitch, who had always been better than him when it came to
bio-mechanics. However Dr. Boskonovitch had disappeared, as Bryan had been a
detective in a former life he reanimated Fury's body and sent him off to
collect this data.
Bryan sneaks into the 'King of Iron Fist Tournament', targeting Yoshimitsu who
has strong ties with Boskonovitch, in the hope he can locate him and retrieve
the data Abel needs. Its seems he must have been successful, maybe Abel
offered Dr.B info on resurrection of the dead in return for the cyber
technology needed to enhance Bryan.
ENDING: Bryan is being chased through the streets by soldiers, who fire
repeatedly at him. The bullets have no effect and his strength is so great he
snaps the gun turret off the tank sent to stop him. Laughing evilly it becomes
apparent that he is truly a super-enhanced undead soldier. [This ending
happened].
TEKKEN 4: In the next two years Bryan came to the realization that his life was
quickly coming to an end. Two years ago, the Mishima Zaibatsu recruited Doctor
Abel
as its top scientific advisor. When this happened, Abel abandoned Bryan without
giving a second thought to the now-obsolete cyborg's well being.
Bryan knew that the only person capable of extending his life was Abel, his
creator. Bryan despised both Heihachi Mishima, the man who took Abel away from
him, and Abel himself for abandoning him.
One day, Bryan heard news of The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4, and decided to
enter the Tournament. He entered knowing that it would probably be his final
fight. As he trained, Bryan sensed that his death was quietly approaching.
Despite his impending death, Bryan's physical strength did not diminish. On the
contrary, Bryan's muscles flowed with energy that made him more powerful than
before. Along with this new strength, Bryan developed an almost uncontrollable
rage that also manifested itself in his outward physical appearance.
Bryan staked everything on this one hope - if he won the Tournament, he would
become the head of the Mishima Zaibatsu. More importantly, if Bryan defeated
Heihachi Mishima in the tournament, he could easily take total control over
the Mishima Zaibatsu to do his bidding.
If all went as planned, Bryan would command Abel to modify his body to prolong
his life. This would also be an opportunity for him to upgrade his body.
It would be his opportunity to upgrade himself to the most powerful being
in existence.
ENDING: "Following victory Bryan approached Abel on shaky legs. 'You're still
alive? Abel was in disbelief. Gathering every last ounce of strength Bryan
knocked Abel across the room. Bryan then fell to the floor unconscious."
Bryan comes too in Dr. Boskonovitchs laboratory. Yoshimitsu had taken him
there. Dr.Boskonavitch offers to take Bryan's essence, his memories etc and
totally mechanise him. In return he will keep Bryan's undead body to use in
his fight against Dr. Abels Devil/Human/Genocell bio-weapon. Not having a lot
of options, Bryan agrees. As he lies back Dr. Boskonavitch says a year will
pass before he awakens again.. "Sweet dreams" and for Bryan, everything goes
black...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
**************************** i) Ganryu ********************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN: Ganryu is a corrupt Sumo wrestler, involved in fraudulent dealings to
futher his own wealth. He enters the tournament to try and aquire more money
for himself, but comes up against Yoshimitsu. Yoshimitsu beats the stuffing
out of him, angry that he has betrayed his Sumo priciples. He then organises
the theft of all of Ganryu's money and exposes his crimes. Ganryu is
dishonoured and shamed out of the Sumo community.
TEKKEN 2: The now dishonoured Ganryu has gone to Kazuya to ask for work.
Kazuya employs him to go to America and kidnap Michelle Chang's mother. This
is to encourage Michelle to bring the sacred pendant to Kazuya in exchange for
her mothers safe return. Michelle come to the Iron Fist Tournament again but
is unwilling at first to hand the pendant over. Kazuya sends Ganryu up against
her to help "persuade" her some more. Sadly Ganryu gets a right good kicking
from a very unimpressed Michelle. Suffering guilt and shame over how low he
has been bought he tries to make-up in some small way by telling Michelle where
her mother is being held.
ENDING: Ganryu has regained his honour. [It is doubtful this happened, he seems
to be beyond redemption].
It is not know for sure what happened to Ganryu, I would guess he either
committed suicide or was killed by Kazuya for his miserable betrayal.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
****************************** j) Gon *********************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN 3: Gon was Master of the Forest, Master of the Sea and Master of the
Air. This tough little dinosaur had proved his worth in the natural world, now
he wanted to prove his strength and power in the human world. He entered the
Iron Fist Tournament and did well, although he did not reach the showdown with
Ogre. He also proved triumphant in the Tekken Ball Championship being held at
the same time as the Iron Fist Tournament. Gon disliked the human world; there
were too many passions and emotions he did not understand. Gon didn't care
about revenge, he just wanted to be the toughest fighter that ever lived!
ENDING: Gon returns to the natural world where he continues to assert his
authority over all creatures large and small. [This ending did happen.]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
*************************** k) Eddy Gordo *****************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN 3: Eddy was born into one of the richest families in Brazil. Since he
was a small boy he knew he would one day take over the family business. He was
well liked in his hometown because he was a hard worker who treated others as
his equals.
One day, when he was 19, Eddy came home from school to find his father shot and
dying. He recalled that his father had been unusually nervous and fearful in
recent weeks.
Eddy's father was working to destroy the drug cartel in Brazil. His untimely
death occurred just when he had obtained enough evidence to put the kingpins
away for good. In his last breaths, Eddy's father told him, "Now is not the
right time to fight. Falsely admit to the crime and hide in prison. Only there
will you be safe". Eddy went along with his father's last wish and the model
student went from a life of luxury to incarceration as a murderer.
Prison life was hell and not a day went by that Eddy didn't vow to get even
with his father's killers. One day during a prison riot he watched an old man
with great power fighting using a technique he called Capoeira. For 8 years
Eddy practiced until he became a master and could be considered a lethal
weapon.
Upon his release from prison at age 27, Eddy heard about the 'King of Iron Fist
Tournament 3' and the Mishima Corporation. He decided to enter the tournament,
believing he could persuade the Mishima Corporation to help him seek his
long-awaited revenge.
ENDING: During the Tournament, Eddy finds out the name of the Cartel Boss who
shot his father. He confronts him using his lethal Martial Arts to force him
to talk. The boss has piles of documents that point to Eddy's innocence and
those who may have been truly responsible. Angrily Eddy demand to know why his
father had to die, the Boss doesn't know, they were asked to do it by someone
else. Later Eddy now restored to his fortune, searches though all the evidence
he found. Amongst he finds disturbing documents, maybe the Mishima Corporation
were behind the death of his father...[This ending happened]
TEKKEN 4: Eddy finds the grand daughter of the Capoeira master who trained him
in prison - Christie Monterio. He trains her into a formidable fighter, but two
years on from the last Iron Fist Tournament he is still bitter about the death
of his father... when he hears of the next Iron Fist Tournament he see an
opportunity to take revenge...but he has since disappeared.
Eddy's whereabouts during the tournament are unknown, but at the end he appears
with his hand in a sling to watch his protégé Christie Monteiro.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
**************************** l) Hwoarang ******************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN 3: A student of Tae Kwon Do who works out at Baek Doo San's dojo,
Hwoarang (19) makes a lot of money through dishonest gambling wagers. As part
of what's called a fraud team, he and other members pick fights for money. They
manipulate the odds by concealing their true strength. He escalates the odds
against him and makes what appears to be a foolish wager. His opponents soon
realize they're the real fools when Hwoarang soundly beats each and every one
of them.
One day, members of the Mishima Group came to town, including among them Jin
Kazama. Hwoarang talks them into his game and is matched against Jin. Hwoarang
embarrassingly can only manage a draw. He hangs his head in disbelief at the
first blemish in his perfect career. Sickened at the thought of having to tell
his teacher Baek the bad news, Hwoarang vows to practice every day to guarantee
that it would never happen again. Then, terrible news. The God of Fighting
claims Baek as yet another victim.
Hwoarang now has a purpose in life. He will participate in the tournament, beat
Jin Kazama and seek revenge against the God of Fighting.
ENDING; Hwoarang only manages a Runners-Up trophy, and never gets to fight
Ogre. Jin has beaten him again. Despondent he sits by the dock and is about to
hurl his trophy into the water when he hears a commotion. Jin is being chased
and shot at by the Tekken Force. Hwoarang follows and using his Tai Kwon Do he
incapacitates the soldiers chasing Jin. He turns and see Jin covered by
strange unearthly light, Jin flies away crackling with demonic energy.
Hwoarang looks at his own hands and finally feels satisfied, he had no
super-natural powers, how could he have beaten Jin? His power was all his own.
[This ending probably happened. Heihachi may not have shot Jin straight away.
Jin could have defeated Ogre and to prevent him defeated True Ogre Heihachi
sent the Tekken Force after him. Jin ran, then as his powers began to appear,
he returned and confronted True Ogre.. only then to be shot by Heihachi]
TEKKEN 4: After the 3rd Iron Fist Tournament Hwoarang was drafted into the
military back in his homeland of Korea and was assigned to a special operations
division. Although his successes in various missions were highly regarded along
with his prowess at Tae Kwon Do and combat techniques, his penchant for
disobeying rules and orders gave his senior officers more than a few headaches.
Hwoarang was uninterested in military life and felt a strange emptiness within
him. He longingly recalled the days of hustling money in street fights and the
rush he experienced from hand-to-hand combat. He often thought of one fight in
particular - the fight against Jin Kazama. These longings could not be quelled
by the military.
One day, Hwoarang (now 21) found out about the announcement of the next
Tournament. Hwoarang's blood stirred. He would defeat Jin, Heihachi Mishima,
and anyone else who dared to challenge him to claim the Mishima Zaibatsu.
Filled with excitement he hasn't felt in years, Hwoarang slipped out from the
military base and headed for the Tournament.
ENDING: "Hwoarang won the tournament and now Mishima Zaibatsu was his to
control. But to everyone's surprise he sold Mishima Zaibatsu to another
company. He then left on another journey with one last task to complete."
He meets with Jin in a deserted carpark. He challenges him to a fight saying
he never got to face him in the tournament. They fight each other, but before
they can finish some Korean army officers show up to arrest Hwoarang for
desertion. Jin fights them off and Howarang joins in. They then take cover
behind a car. Hoarang tells Jin he kicked his ass and if Jin wants to even the
score he'll have to make sure he shows up for the next tournament. Jin smiles,
then the soldiers fire a rocket and blow up the car.. did Jin and Hoawarang
escape?? (well duh..)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
*************************** m) Bruce Irvin ****************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN 2: Bruce Irvin was once a respected American cop. He often partnered Lei
Wulong on international crime-busting missions. He was also a talented
kick-boxing and idol to many young children. This all came to an end one day
when Bruce was ordered to fly to Japan to investigate Kazuya Mishima. Somehow
Kazuya engineered a plane crash and Bruce was the only survivor. Bruce had no
memory of his life prior to the crash and was immediately taken on by Kazuya
who fed him a false story. He told Bruce he was a man who had been framed for
a crime he did not commit and Kazuya would be able to keep him safe if Bruce
became his bodyguard.
Bruce agreed and served Kazuya from then on. When Kazuya called the Second
Iron Fist Tournament, he found out Lei Wulong was on the way. Wanting the
meddling cop out of the way, Kazuya told Bruce that lei had been the one who
fitted him up. He hoped Bruce would be angry enough to dispose of the annoying
Hong Kong Cop. Bruce and Lei met up and had a terrible fight. Lei tried to
explain what had happened, who Bruce used to be, but Bruce did not believe him.
After they had seriously injured each other Bruce managed to escape. Confused
and upset he got onto a plane and headed away from Japan to think. But Kazuya
had sabotaged his plane again, just in case Bruce had tried to escape. It once
again exploded. Bruce's body was never found.
ENDING: Bruce is working out with a punch bag. His mighty kick bursts the bag
much to the amazement of a watching kid. He winks at the child and gives him a
thumbs up. [This happened, but before Bruce started working for Kazuya]
Lei was never sure if Bruce did actually die in the plane crash. His fears
seemed to be realised 19 years later when he saw Ogre performing many of
Bruce's signature kicks.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
********************** n) Jack/Jack-2/Gun Jack ************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN: Jack is a military Cyborg, built by Dr. B he is meant to be a new breed
of super soldier that can enter warzones that would be to lethal for human
fighters. Uncomfortable about Mishima's growing power the Russian Government
enter Jack into the first Tekken Tournament, hopefully to take out Heihachi.
Jack never gets as far as Heihachi, he is pitted against Prototype Jack.
Heihachis own Jack cyborg. Jack beats P-Jack but cannot continue in the
tournament. He goes back to Russia with the fighting data he has gained and
the news that Mishima is creating his own jack Cyborgs.
ENDING: Jack is part of a production line of Jacks [This happened]
TEKKEN 2: It was around this time that Dr. B put the "morality" programme in
one of the Jacks, before he was kidnapped and forced to work for Kazuaya.
While out on mission the Jack army were putting down a rebellion in a lawless
eastern European state. Bacterial weapons were being used and it was too
dangerous for human soldiers to fight there. A small girl was found by one Jack
cowering in some rubble, this triggered Jack - 2 "humanity". Immediately he
rescued the girl (Jane) and went AWOL from the Jack Army.
Jane was suffering the effects of the war and was sick. Jack - 2 realised Dr. B
may be able to help her and entered the Iron Fist Tournament to try and find
him. Fighting off the Mishima's new P-Jack, he succeeded in tracking down Dr. B
who was delighted his "human" program had worked so well. He cured Jane and
Jack-2 and Jane left.
ENDING: Jack-2 has taken Jane to an island where they can both be safe.
Unfortunately Dr. Abel has other plans. Ordered by Heihachi to take Jack-2
out, whatever the cost he blasts him from above the earth with an
Electro-magnetic beam, shutting down Jack-2 completely. The last thing Jack
sees before he "dies" is Jane chasing a butterfly....[This ending happened
*sniffle*]
TEKKEN 3: When Jane, now a physicist, was eight years old, she was rescued from
a bacteriological war by the Russian military robot Jack-2. However, Jack-2 was
later destroyed by a satellite weapon as Jane, still a young girl, watched in
horror.
Jane, now 27, could not forget the nightmare of Jack-2's having collapsed
beside her. She spent ten years restoring Jack-2 to 90% functionality, but it
seemed to have lost the humane characteristics that set it apart from Jack-1.
Jane worked hard analysing the program in order to return to Jack-2 the gentle
soul which had saved her life. Through detailed analysis, she found that most
of Jack-2's programming was created by Mishima Heavy Industry, one of the
subsidiaries of the Mishima Financial Empire. Moreover, she discovered a hidden
program... 'Project Gun Jack'. It laid the groundwork for a new weapon, a pivot
gun.
In order to restore Jack-2 completely, Jane had to approach Mishima Financial
Empire and solve the mystery of the project. She quickly installed the hidden
program and brought to Mishima Financial Empire the newly dubbed Gun Jack. Keen
to see the effectiveness of the new jack in battle, Heihachi accepts Gun Jack
into the tournament, intending to mass-produce him if he performs well.
ENDING: During the tournament while Gun Jack fought, Jane hacked into the
Mishima computers and found Jack's "human" programme. During all the chaos
caused by True Ogre and Jin, Gun Jack and Jane escape and in a secret lab in
the middle of nowhere, she downloads the program. To her delight Gun Jack
smiles at her, he remembers her and his humanity. Feeling like a little girl
again Jane clambers on her big friends shoulder and they walk towards a new
future.
But high above Dr. Abel has orders to destroy them utterly; he once again fires
a laser at them, this time a beam of pure destruction. But this time Gun Jack
is ready, as the dust clears he holds Jane close to him. Both of them
protected by Gun Jacks defensive shield. They look around at the crater they
stand in the middle of and realise that they will never be free of the
interference of the Mishima's. But at least now they have each other. [This

**************************** o) Wang Jinery ***************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN: Wang Jinery was a long time acquaintance of the Mishima family. He had
been a friend to Heihachi's father and had watched Heihachi grow up. He also
witnesses Heihachi's growing fanatical devotion to fighting and the power it
could bring him. Wang became concerned about Heihachi increasing arrogance and
began to look for a fighter who might be able to curb his behaviour somewhat.
In the first tournament he took on the young fighter Marshall Law. Although
law was a brilliant fighter, he did not have the purity of spirit that Wang
knew would be needed to combat the increasingly dark power of the Mishima's.
After Kazuya became head of the Mishima Empire he became even more worried
about the evil he sensed inside Kazuya and as a friend of Kazuya's father he
was increasingly shut out.
TEKKEN 2: In the second Tournament, Wang found the fighter he was looking for.
The beautiful and pure Jun Kazama. He did not stand against her in their
match-up and told her of his fears of what was brewing inside Kazuya.
ENDING: Wang Jinery ascends a hill and pours wine on a grave (Heihachi's
fathers?). [Unsure if this happened]
After Tekken 2 it is not certain what became of Wang. It seems likely he went
into semi-retirement as he was quite old and spent his days mostly training
students. He either died a natural death of old age or was killed by Ogre.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
**************************** p) Jin Kazama ****************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN 3: At the age of 15, Jin found out that he was Kazuya Mishima' son. At
the same time, he lost his mother, Jun Kazama. She had died when Ogre came to
her house and absorbed her soul while she defended Jin. Honouring her last
words he went to Heihachi. Jin trained himself under the supervision of
Heihachi with the intention of defeating the "God of Fight", who killed his
mother. Heihachi was not only his grandfather, but also a reliable teacher.
Four years have passed. Having mastered the Kazama and Mishima style fighting
karate, Jin starts to take action as a martial artist. He takes the Tai
Kwon-Do fighter Hwoarang to a draw in a street fight and becomes friends with
the eccentric teenager Ling Xiayou. He is however unaware of Heihachi's plans
to use him to lure out the God of Fight.
One day Jin's fighting power reaches a high enough level for Ogre to become
interested. Heihachi has called the King of Iron Fist tournament and many
fighters from around the world have come to take part. The ultimate
confrontation is against Heihachi and then Ogre. Jin is the last fighter to
reach the temple where Heihachi and Ogre await. First he beats his grandfather
and then the takes on Ogre. He defeats Ogre, but unlike the previous fighters
who beat it, Ogre suddenly transforms into a huge grotesque bat-like demon
around ten feet high and breathing fire. The boiling power of the devil inside
Jin has triggered Ogres true form. Heihachi is pleased, but before he can take
steps to capture the true Ogre Jin begins to fight it. True Ogre does not take
defeat well and explodes.
ENDING: Jin thinks Heihachi will be pleased with him but is shocked when he
turns and see that guns are pointed at him. The Tekken Force gun him down and
as he reaches out towards his Grandfather for help, Heihachi walks over... and
shoots him several times.
Anger surges though Jins body and the power he feels inside suddenly explodes
outward. Dark patterns appear across his forehead, his eyes glow red and two
wings sprout from his back. His rage know no bounds and he rushes for Heihachi
and smashes him through the wall of the temple and crashes him 50 to the
ground. Leaving a wounded Heihachi behind he spreads his wings and flies away.
[This happened]
TEKKEN 4 - Brisbane, Australia... a city crowded with buildings, new and old.
Nestled amongst the towering buildings of this city was a small dojo. A young
man trained there, his face covered by the hood of his jacket. This young man
trained there quietly.
... The young man was Jin.
Day after day, Jin trained in the traditional art of karate. Ever since
Heihachi's betrayal, Jin loathed everything about himself - his Mishima
bloodline, his fighting style, the Devil gene in his blood, everything. He
unlearned the Mishima-ryu fighting style thanks to the dojo master's training
and mastered traditional karate.
Jin's thoughts burned with the desire to destroy the evil Mishima bloodline -
the bloodline of his grandfather, Heihachi Mishima, and his father, Kazuya.
One day, Jin heard rumors that The King of the Iron Fist Tournament 4 was
announced.
A once in a lifetime opportunity to exterminate the Mishima clan. Without
hesitation, Jin hardened his resolve to enter the tournament.
Jin hit a sandbag with his sharply honed kick. The bag burst open violently,
and sand poured out of the bag...
ENDING: "While Jin was on his way to fight Kazuya he was ambushed by Tekken
Force. Jin bought down scores of them but was eventually captured and taken
away."
Inside Jin's head he is tormented by images of kazuya laughing and saying "Hate
Me!, "Give in to the Anger!". He comes to tied up and suspended in Hehachis
temple. His Devil markings are on his chest. He is set free and drops down, a
purple mist surrounds his body. "If only you were dead!!" he screams at his
father Kazuya and launches himself at him. They fight and Kazuya lies badly
beaten. Heihachi walks past Kazuyas body with contempt. "Pathetic wretch,
worthless fool." He then turns on Jin and tells him he is next to die. But
Jin also beats him up.
He holds Heihachi up off the floor by the front of his tunic and is about to
deliver a deathblow when a bright light shines and he catches a glimpse of his
dead mother, Jun, looking at him. The image is quickly gone, but it is enough
to remind Jin that he is better than Heihachi and Kazuya. He lets Heihachi
drop to the ground, "Thank my mother, Jun Kazama." He then spreads his black
wings and flies up smashing trough the roof. As moonlight pours in a cascade of
black feathers fall down, and in the centre one single bright, white feather
slowly comes to rest...

**************************** q) Jun Kazama ****************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Prologue: As a young girl Jun was a sensitive child. She always had a special
connection with nature and the natural world. One day she saw a bobcat kill a
mother rabbit protecting her babies. She picked up the dead rabbit and wept
for it. As she cried a handsome young boy with large bushy eyebrows, who had
been practising karate nearby came over. He comforted her and said he'd get
the bobcat for her. Jun cautioned him "the bobcat wasn't being evil, it just
acted according to it's nature". The young boy seemed to understand this. Then
a huge frightening man strode over, Jun watched in horror as he accused the boy
(his son) of weakness. She was helpless as the man hurled the boy over a nearby
cliff and strode off laughing.
She searched in the ravine but never found the young boy. As she grew up she
was haunted by nightmares of that day and other sinister images of the boy
becoming demon-like. She became a fine fighter, although she only used her
power for one cause; protecting the planet and defending the weak. She ended
up working for an Environmental organisation and became one of their best
operatives.
One day she was called to headquarters and shown footage of a mutated animal
skeleton that resembled a Raptor skeleton. It had been found by fisherman
floating near the coast of a Mishima owned island. She was shocked when she
was told the remains were 'Humida' and multi-gene lifeform. Something that
could not have evolved naturally. Her boss gave her tickets to the second Iron
Fist Tournament so she could investigate the goings on at Mishima Corporation
headquarters.
Jun entered the tournament reluctantly, but her superior skills saw her reach
her penultimate battle with an old man called Wang Jinery. He refused to fight
her however and told her his worries about the dark force inside Kazuya and how
he believed Jun held the power to stop him or save him. Concerned and worried,
Jun was now on her way to confront Kazuya. Before she did, she took timeout to
get the two genetically modified fighters - Roger and Alex- packed off safely.
She did not wish them to be made test subjects by any side in this conflict,
either by her bosses or by the Mishima's.
Then she went to meet Kazuya. Her shock was immense when she confronted him
and realised that he was the same young boy who had been so cruelly treated by
his father all those years ago. She was saddened to see that the once gentle
and happy boy was this twisted, angry man - "I feel a cold spirit, like a devil
inside you!" she said to him. She pleaded with him to reject all the hate and
anger that was festering inside him. Kazuya became annoyed with her lecturing
"You shouldn't live your life for empty ideologies, can you defend your truth
with your fists?" he demanded of her.
They squared up to each other...but a strange thing was happening between them.
As they argued she began to feel an overwhelming feeling of love, sympathy and
attraction for Kazuya. She could see in his eyes that he was confused and
feeling the same. They came together.. but not in battle. Tenderly they make
love, and for a moment Jun thinks she may have reached him. But Kazuya
miserably confides to her that he can no longer control the devilish presence
inside him. He knows his father is on his way to kill him and maybe that would
be for the best. Tearfully Jun leaves Kazuya to his fate.
ENDING: Jun returns to the countryside where she is to make her home for the
next fifteen years. All the animals flock to her. She is their protector and
they love her. [This ending happened]
Fleeing she realises quickly that she is pregnant. They devilish presence that
lived in Kazuya comes seeking her once Kazuya is dead, intending to enter her
unborn child. She resists it and goes into hiding in a remote mountain
cottage. There over the next fifteen years she brings up Jin Kazama her son.
They live happily with Jin until rumours reach her of the deaths of many
Martial artists around the world.
Jun instinctively picks up on the dark power encroaching on her life. She has
no understanding of what it is, but senses that she has become a target.
Accepting her destiny, she tells Jin everything she knows of there haunted past
to prepare him for the fateful day she now feels is imminent. She tells Jin to
go to his grandfather Heihachi if anything should befall her.
Her intuition proves right on a cold, stormy night. Ogre comes to the mountains
bringing a chilling, swirling wind. "Run away!" cries Jun. But against his
mother's pleas Jin opts to face Toshin and is knocked unconscious.
When Jin awakens the house and everything around it is burned to the ground.
Jin searches frantically for his mother but she is nowhere to be found. Jun is
dead, absorbed by Ogre. For Jin there is nothing left, but revenge..
[For what happened next to Jun, see the Tekken Tag Tournament section after the
Alternative viewpoints section of this FAQ]

************************** r) Armour King *****************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN: Armour King's origins are shrouded in mystery. He is a Japanese
wrestler who wears a black iron suit and the mask of a Jaguar. He has a
supernatural air about him, the power he gains from his mask makes him more
than human. He was believed to be a friend of Heihachi's father and Wang
Jinery.
He encounters King in a wrestling bout organised before the First Tekken
Tournament. Impressed by the strength of his fellow jaguar headed wrestler
they become friends and sparring partners. They meet up in the first
Tournament and wrestle each other. King is not interested in prize money or
winning he wants to see if one day King will be able to help him defeat the
creature he fears Kazuaya will become.
TEKKEN 2: After the Second Iron Fist Tournament he seeks out King who has gone
to ground. He finds King slumped outside a seedy drinking hole. King has lost
his orphanage and his reason to live. He is depressed and despairing. Armour
King sternly throws the mask at Kings feet. He tells King to train hard, the
second iron Fist tournament may be about more than just winning a big prize.
It could be a chance to defeat an ancient evil.
He also finds and trains the lovable Roger and Alex, the more people he can
marshal against Kazuya the better. Once in the tournament he faces King again.
Still seeing that King hurts over his lost orphanage, he beats King and
demands that he return to his children and his training.
Armour King also realises that the forces Kazuya are unleashing are more than
he can stop, the power his mask gives him are beginning to take a toll on his
mental and physical well-being. He is relieved when Heihachi kills Kazuya and
seemingly removes him from the world forever. He returns to Mexico the see
King and both of them carry on wrestling in tournaments together.
ENDING: Armour sits brooding in the changing rooms of a wrestling stadium. He
staggers up and drags himself towards the lights and crowds ready for another
show. Blood drips down from his mask. Power has his price....[This ending
happened]
TEKKEN 3: Armour King trains and wrestles with King for another 15 years. They
are great friends. But one terrible day his supernatural intuition perceives a
threat to his friend. He arrives to find King being attacked by Ogre the God
of Fight. He is too late to prevent his friends death and is devastated. He
has to tell all the orphans about Kings death and one in particular a young man
who had been raised in Kings orphanage swore revenge for his master. Armour
King saw the mans potential and offered him Kings mask, aiming to train him up
until he was ready to take on the God of Fight.
Four years pass and King 2 does phenomenally well under Armour Kings tutelage.
One day after King wins a particularly difficult fight Armour King calls him to
the dressing room. The years and emotions weigh heavy on him and he removes
his jaguar mask, slumped on a bench he looks sad, old and vulnerable. He
relates to the shocked young King exactly how his predecessor died and gives
him a ticket for the Third Tekken Tournament. He tells King 2 that he cannot
attend, the toll of living under the mask has finally forced him to bow out of
active fighting. But he believes that King 2 will acquit himself well.
Epilogue: Armour King goes into semi-retirement. Pleased with Kings performance
in the Third Iron Fist Tournament he gives him his blessing to carry on the
first Kings legacy of wrestling and managing the orphanage. He goes away for a
sabbatical. One day he winds up in a bar in Arizona. In the bar is an
obnoxious man called Craig, who keeps bragging about how his Vale Tudo skills
are a match for any puny wrestlers. Armour King knows he shouldn't but he
rises to the challenge, but he is out of practice and old, Craig's brand of
vicious "anything goes" fighting leaves Armour King fatally wounded and he
dies. A sad end for a wrestling hero, death in a barroom brawl at the hands of
a brutish, dishonourable thug.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
*************************** s) King/King 2 ****************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN: King is a wrestling priest from Mexico. He has an orphanage full of
children who look up to him as their protector. On a missionary trip abroad he
aquired the jaguar mask and became an even more powerful fighter. He
encounters Armour King in a bout before the First Iron Fist Tournament. They
become firm friends and sparring partners from then on. King does not win the
First Tournament, but receives enough money to help out his orphanage.
ENDING: King returns home, church bells ring. The orphans run out and surround
their beloved King. He is home and loved. He couldn't be happier [This
happened]
TEKKEN 2: It has all gone wrong for King. A child under his care dies in an
accident. King blames himself and renounces his God, his Orphanage and the
jaguar mask. He falls into a deep spiral of depression and alcoholism. One
day he hits rock bottom, staggering out of a bar he passes out by the bins. On
waking he finds Armour King standing over him. AK tosses the mask at his feet
and demands he find his form again. He must join him in the Second Iron Fist
Tournament. King agrees and begins to train again. But cannot face returning
to his old orphanage.
In the tournament Armour King gives King a right good thrashing. He then
orders a chastened King to return to his orphanage. The children miss him and
he should not hurt them with his own self-pity. King agrees and leaves early.
ENDING: Its Christmas, snow lies on the ground. King watches as the children
laugh and play inside. He walks quietly up to the door and leaves his presents
for the children and then turns away. But the children run out and surround
him, they want to know where he has been. They tell him how much they missed
him and make him promise never to leave. Overwhelmed by their love for him
Kings doubts finally disappear. He roars with happiness, he is once again
truly home [This happened]
TEKKEN 3: Fifteen years on a King still wrestles and looks after his orphans,
but one night his life is cut cruelly short. Ogre appears to him and tries to
absorb his soul, he fights Ogre off for a few minutes, but it is to no avail.
By the time Armour King arrives he is dead.
Now enters King 2. Raised in King's orphanage, he was 20 years old when the
original King was killed. He put on the mask and assumed the role of King's
successor, in order to honour his mentor and save the orphanage.
The new King had only watched his mentor and really was incapable of fulfilling
the legend. Armour King, knowing who killed King, felt an obligation to prepare
King the Second for a rightful revenge.
ENDING: Four years have passed and King the Second is now a skilful wrestler.
Feeling the time is right, Armour King tells his student that the God of
Fighting was responsible for King's death. Armour King breaks down in tears as
he tells the gruesome story. King the Second now knows his purpose in
life.[This happened before the tournament obviously]
King does not get to meet Ogre, but feels that Ogres death at least avenges
King in some way even if it wasn't by his own hand. King returns to carry on
the First Kings legacy. Two years later he gets some terrible news...
TEKKEN 4: Armor King, King's mentor and foster father, was dead.
King (now 30) pledged on Armor King's grave that he would seek revenge against
the man responsive for his mentor's death.
The man (Craig Marduk) was currently serving time in an Arizona State
Penitentiary. With the money he saved from professional wrestling tournaments,
King arranged for the murderer's release from prison and sent him a plane
ticket and an article about The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4.
With his plans in motion, King headed for the Tournament to await his sworn
enemy, the Vale Tudo fighter, Craig Marduk.
ENDING: "After the tournament King donated Mishima Zaibatsu's vast fortune to
help all the impoverished children in the world. But King still had unfinished
business to attend to."
Marduk lies injured in hospital. King strides in and raises his fist to end
Marduks life. But then he sees a photo of Marduk with his family. King can't
do it, he cannot kill Marduk. It is not his way. Sadly he walks out, leaving
Marduk unaware of just how close he came to losing his life.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
**************************** t) Kuma/Panda ****************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN: Kuma is a bodyguard of Heihachi. Talented in Martial Arts it fights
with Paul Phoenix during the First Iron Fist Tournament. It keeps him occupied
for so long that Paul never makes the showdown with him rival Kazuya.
After Heihachi climbs out of the ravine he finds Kuma and they go into
seclusion, training together.
TEKKEN 2: Kuma once again fights with Paul, but this time he is quickly beaten.
ENDING: Heihachi is training Kuma. Kuma smashes straight tough a wall with a
picture of Paul pinned to it. It REALLY hates him! [This ending happened]
TEKKEN 3: The first Kuma died of old age during its travels with Heihachi. Its
child, also named Kuma, became Heihachi's second pet. This Kuma is smarter than
its father, and a good bodyguard for Heihachi. One day, when it was absorbed in
watching TV, it suddenly went wild at the sight of a martial artist with a
scarlet go-gi. It was Paul Phoenix!
Kuma has trained since that day to defeat Paul in battle. It doesn't think
anything of the God of Fighting, only of defeating Paul. By the way, Kuma is
secretly in love with Xiaoyu's Panda
PANDA: She is cared for at Ling Xiaoyu's high school. To participate in the
tournament, Ling moved to the Mishima Industrial College in Japan. Heihachi
taught Panda advanced bear fighting so that she could act as a bodyguard for
Xiaoyu during the tournament. Although Kuma is fond of Panda, she dislikes him
and keeps her distance.
ENDING: Kuma is waiting for Panda after school finishes. As Ling and Panda
leave the school gates, Kuma thrusts out a bunch of flowers for Panda.
Everything goes quiet, tumbleweeds roll past, a distant bell chimes. Ling and
Panda ignore him completely. Playing hard to get eh? [This happened.. aw poor
Kuma]
TEKKEN 4: After losing to Paul Phoenix in the last Tournament, Kuma realized
that he had lost touch with his animal roots. As long as he was Heihachi's
pet, he would be unable to harness the power of his natural instincts, no
matter how much he trained. Determined to revive his wild instincts, Kuma
trained by himself in the mountains of Hokkaido (a northern island of Japan).
Life in the wilderness was more brutal than any training Kuma went through
with Heihachi. Despite this, Kuma continued his harsh regimen because he
burned with the desire to defeat Paul. His efforts paid off- his skills
improved dramatically to the point where he developed his own attacks.
One thing Kuma could not get rid of, however, was his habit for watching
television. He went down to the village every so often to watch TV through
the windows of the villagers' houses, much to the surprise of the villagers.
After waking from hibernation during his second year of training, Kuma went
down to the village as usual to watch some TV. When he looked through the
window of one house, he saw a commercial announcing The King of Iron Fist
Tournament 4. Kuma's instincts raged for battle, and he headed for the
tournament site.
Paul would be at the Tournament without a doubt, and Kuma was determined to
defeat him.
ENDING (KUMA): "After defeating Paul and winning the tournament Kuma decided to
set his sights on a new goal. 'Grr I'm gonna try my paw at corporate
management!'"
Heihachi congratulates Kuma and shows him a stack of deeds to the various
regional branches of the Mishima Zaibatsu. Kuma begins to sign each one with
his paw-print. Right at the bottom is a deed that would sign all Kuma's
property back over to Heihachi. Heihachi grins as he encourages Kuma to sign
it. But Kuma knows him too well and plants a big red paw-print slap onto
Heihachi's shocked face (Yay Kuma!)
PANDA: After the last Tournament, Panda accompanied Xiaoyu back to Mishima
High School.
Since then, Panda spent her days training with Xiaoyu. On some days, she
wondered (just a little) about the whereabouts of Kuma, who disappeared
after the Tournament.
One day, two years after the Tournament, Xiaoyu, lost in her thoughts, told
Panda about the announcement for The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4.
After hearing Xiaoyu's concerns about the Tournament and the Mishima Zaibatsu,
Panda made up her mind to become Xiaoyu's bodyguard once again.
ENDING (PANDA): "After winning the tournament, panda handed the entire estate
over to Ling Xiayou. Xiayou made public the wrong doings of the Mishima
Zaibatsu and used the fortune to compensate it's victims"
Panda and Xiayou sit and talk. Pand seems a little preoccupied and shows
Xiayou a photo of Panda, Xiayou and Jin taken when they were all at high school
together (prior to Tekken 3). Panda makes it clear to Xiayou that Ling should
go and find Jin, but that she must do it without Panda. For some reason Panda
cannot join her. Xiayou is sad, but hugs Panda and tells her they will all be
friends. She then stands up and resolves to find Jin, wherever he may be...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
***************************** u) Kunimitsu ****************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN 1: Kunimitsu is a rival of Yoshimitsu for the leadership of the Manji
Clan. She hears of a strange mystical pendant held by a young fighter called
Michelle Chang. Looking for anything that could give her the upper hand
against Yoshimitsu she follows Michelle to the First Iron Fist Tournament.
Unfortunately Michelle is to powerful for her and she does not acquire the
pendant as she had hoped. She is also surprised to see Yoshimitsu at the
tournament.
TEKKEN 2: Kunimitsu argues with Yoshimitsu about the future of the Manji party,
she believes that philanthropy is not a way to run a party and that they should
look to becoming a more powerful and organised crime syndicate than mess about
as "merely" a band of common thieves. Yoshimitsu is elected head of the manji
party and ejects Kunimitsu for her persistent undermining of him. He also
suspects she wants his sacred sword.
Kunimitsu goes to Kazuya Mishima, believing he could be a powerful ally and
assist in her revenge against Yoshimitsu. She tells him about Michelle's
pendant and in return she asks to be able to fight Yoshimitsu in the
tournament. Kazuya allows Yoshimitsu to escape a break-in to Mishima
headquarters, knowing he will return for Dr. B under cover of the Second Iron
Fist Tournament. Kunimitsu does indeed get to fight Yoshimitsu. But he has
been bio-mechanically enhanced and is pretty cheesed off with her plots and
plans to kill him. So he decides to do the world a favour and kills her. He
then leaves the tournament to rescue Dr.B.
Alas Kunimitsu, the dishonourable ninja is dead. No-one mourns her passing.
ENDING: Kunimitsu admires Yoshimitsu's sword which she now has. [This did not
happen]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
***************************** v) Forest Law **************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN 3: The proud son of Marshall Law, Forest trains at his father's dojo to
achieve Law's success and greatness. As a protective father, Marshall has
forbidden his son from entering any contests outside the dojo. Marshall's
long-time friend and competitor Paul Phoenix visits once every few months to
spar with Marshall. One day when Paul arrived, Marshall was away supervising
the building of a new dojo. Paul insisted that Forest join him in some training
exercises. Forest declined knowing that his father would disapprove. But Paul
wouldn't take no for an answer.
Unaware of Marshall's restrictions on fighting, Paul suggested to Forest that
he join 'The King of Iron Fist Tournament 3'. Paul sold Forest on the idea by
telling him he's a better fighter than his father. Forest knew his father would
be angry, but he had to prove that he was worthy of one day inheriting the
dojo. Marshall was enraged when he found out what happened. To him, it was as
if his son had been kidnapped.
ENDING: Paul brings Forest back home having ensured he made it safely through
the tournament. Forest wants to show his dad a new move, a variation on the
famous flip kick. He demonstrates to Paul and Marshall. They both attempt the
new move only to end up flat on the floor. How embarrassing, middle-age has
caught up with them at last. Forest can only shrug, maybe his dad should spend
less time pen-pushing for the business and more time working out! [This ending
happened]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
***************************** w) Marshall Law *************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN 1: Marshall Law was a young and supremely skilled Jeet Kun-Do fighter.
At age 25 he hears of the first Iron Fist Tournament and enters. His goal is
to win enough money to start up his own dojo.
In the tournament he meets up with the martial Arts Master, Wang Jinery who
spots his potential as a great fighter. Law does not manage to beat Wang and
never gets to face Heihachi, but he does do well enough to win enough money to
start his own martial arts school.
ENDING: Marshall is teaching students in his dojo. He performs his amazing
back-flip kick much to the admiration of his pupils. [This ending did happen.]
TEKKEN 2: Law is now 28 and has a successful dojo. On the way home from the
last Tournament he also became great friends with Paul Phoenix. Initially he
has no intention of entering the second Iron Fist Tournament, but one day he
returns to his dojo and finds it has been wrecked. One of his students
identifies Baek Doo-San as the culprit. Burning with anger, Marshall finds
that Baek is a participant in the second Iron Fist tournament and enters to
seek revenge and some answers.
Law meets up with Baek and challenges him over his actions. He severely beats
Baek, nearly killing him in his rage. But he discovers that Baek is a tragic
figure, suffering guilt over his fathers death. Law forgives Baek and leaves
the tournament early. He goes back to his businesses and fathers a son -
Forest.
ENDING: Marshall demonstrates his famous flip-kick to Paul. Paul smugly thinks
he can replicate the move, but falls flat on his face. [This ending happened -
probably quite often!]
TEKKEN 3: Marshall did not take part in the third Tekken tournament, some 18
years after the last one. After his experiences in the second he became
concerned at how quickly he was driven to hate and how dangerous his martial
arts skills made him. He refuses to allow Forest to take part in the third
Iron Fist Tournament. Unfortunately Paul Phoenix turns up and persuades Forest
to come with him to compete. Marshall is enraged by this disobedience and
betrayal from his old friend. He buries himself in his businesses, becoming
less and less interested in fighting.
TEKKEN 4: By now the 48 year old Marshall Law was a successful businessman - he
managed a newly established dojo and even owned a nationwide Chinese fast food
chain called Marshall China. Unfortunately, he lost a franchise war against a
competitor and had to declare bankruptcy a year later.
Unable to deal with his failure, Marshall fell into depression and spent his
days at home in a drunken haze. Then one day, a notice for the Tournament
arrived at his doorstep. Marshall's eyes flashed with renewed vigour. After a
month of intense training, he beat himself back into top physical form
Something ignited a fire within Marshall. "This is it," he said to himself, "I
must place everything on the line for this Tournament and win!" The fire within
raged hotter than ever before.
ENDING: "Law won the tournament and earned the Mishima Zaibatsu fortune. His
fighting spirit was now focused on rebuilding the Marshall China empire."
Marshall is in his restaurant when some punks abuse him and his food. Marshall
punches out first one, then the rest of the group. As a result of this he goes
out of business (again). But this time he uses his anger and fighting spirit
to reopen Marshall's Dojo.

***************************** x) Craig Marduk *************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN 4: Craig is a new fighter in the tournament. He is 28 years old and a
wrestler.
Undefeated for four years in the professional circuit, Craig Marduk was once a
respected and feared Vale Tudo fighter. However, Craig is expelled from the
professional ranks after being linked to a minor scandal. Bitter against his
peers and society, Craig's wrath consumed his soul.
One day, Craig started a bar brawl in Arizona and killed an opponent during the
fight (Armour King). Convicted for second-degree manslaughter, Craig was
sentenced to 10 years in the state penitentiary.
Two years later, Craig was mysteriously released from prison. Some anonymous
"benefactor" (King) had apparently paid off numerous judiciaries to arrange for
Craig's release.
An envelope is delivered to Craig shortly after his release. Craig opens the
envelope to find a plane ticket and an article about The King of Iron Fist
Tournament 4.
ENDING: "For Marduk, fulfillment was elusive. 'Winning some tournament don't
mean nothing'. When he realised where he was, he was heading back to the
sites of his former glory."
Craig stands in a Vale Tudo ring deep in contemplation. This reverie is
shattered when the obnoxious Jeff Slater the current Vale Tudo champion walks
up and tries to bait him into fighting. Craig tries to leave but Jeff blocks
his path sneering at him. Suddenly Marduk head butts him and Jeff drops like a
stone. "Don't bother getting up" snarls Craig as he walks over Jeff and out of
the ring (Cool!).

************************** y) Heihachi Mishima ************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Prologue: Heihachi was a difficult man to like. His father bought him up
strictly and he was always surrounded by martial artists s he grew. As he
trained to become the best fighter, he was also being groomed to take over the
family business. When his father died, he became the owner of one of the
largest business conglomerates in the worlds. Heihachi's lust for power and
strength soon began to colour his whole outlook on life. He married and his
wife tragically died in childbirth, delivering Heihachi his only child.
Kazuya.
Heihachi grieved his wife's death and threw him self further into training and
business expansion. Kazuya was his bright hope for the future, he would be a
powerful fighter and as strong and as driven as he was. But as Kazuya grew
Heihachi could see that Kazuya had no steel in his soul, he was to emotional
and caring. Heihachi decided to take drastic steps. Hurling Kazuya over a
cliff was his way of forcing his son to become the strong, cold, fighter he
always wanted his son to be. If it meant Kazuya would hate him then that was a
small price to pay.
He knew Kazuya had survived and kept tabs on his growing up, delighted every
time he heard Kazuya had won another fight. In the meantime he adopted Lee
Chaolan, hoping this would drive Kazuya to proving himself even more.
TEKKEN: Heihachi called the first Iron Fist Tournament in the hope Kazuya
could prove his worthiness to be called his son, by defeating him.
Unfortunately he had massively miscalculated Kazuya's hatred of him. Kazuya
was a man possessed and Heihachi immediately realised he was in trouble. He
was beaten unconscious and came to a few day later at the bottom of a deep
ravine. He managed to climb back up and was horrified to find tat Kazuya, with
the help of Lee Chaolan had taken over his Financial Empire.
TEKKEN 2: Heihachi found his old bodyguard Kuma the Bear and they both went
into exile, training and plotting and waiting for a time to strike back at
Kazuya. The opportunity came when Kazuya called the second Tekken Tournament.
Heihachi enteredd and blasted though meeting Lee Chaolan in his penultimate
fight. Lee tried to do a deal with Heihachi, if Lee stepped aside he could
help
Heihachi defeat Kazuya. Heihachi was contemptuous. He had always felt his
adopted son cared for rewards of power, without the struggles necessary to
achieve them. He beat Lee senseless, then made his way to Kazuya.
He was shocked to see Kazuya in the throes of some kind of battle within
himself, a shadowy devil figure and an angelic one fought round the tortured
Kazuya. But when Kazuya saw his father the Devilish figure seemed to grow more
powerful, the angelic one disappeared and the devilish figure merged with
Kazuya.
Kazuya now faced his father as Devil-Kazuya, the manifestation of all his
hatred made flesh. But hatred on it's own is not always enough and although
Devil Kazuya was awesomely powerful, Heihachi defeated him. Angry and a little
frightened at the changes in his son, Heihachi decided to dispose of him for
good.
ENDING: Heihachi flies over a volcano and drops Kazuya inside the hot lava,
just to be sure he stays dead...[This happened]
TEKKEN 3: Heihachi retrieved the Mishima Financial Empire by defeating his son.
Scheming to further develop the MFE, Heihachi organized "Tekken Force", the
MFE's private corps and dispatched them to settle disputes and brought waste
land under cultivation to feed the poor countries of the world to gain support
of leaders worldwide.
Fifteen years later, a secret excavation by the Tekken Forces in Central
American ruins unearths an unusual find. A mysterious being annihilated them.
Heihachi realized that the mysterious being could be the legendary God of
Fighting, and took action to realize his life's goal, to capture the God of
Fighting and therefore rule the world.
One day, a 15-year-old boy named Jin Kazama visited Heihachi. Being informed
that Jin was his grandson and hearing what had happened to his mother Jun,
Heihachi reasoned that the God of Fighting thrives on the "strong souls" of
others. Heihachi trained Jin to use him as a decoy to lure the God of Fighting
The decoy works and Ogre appears in a temple that Heihachi decides to use as
the final battleground in the King of Iron Fist 3 tournament. He himself
stands as the penultimate challenge to those wishing to fight Ogre. When Jin
finally reaches him, Heihachi is no match for his awesome blend of Jun and
Kazuya's fighting styles and the devilish power that is beginning to be awoken
by his proximity to Ogre.
Heihachi watches as Jin defeats Ogre and triggers its transformation into its
true form. He calls the Tekken Force to help him subdue Ogre, but before he
can tell Jin to do the same, he finds Jin engaging true Ogre in battle. Jin
beats Ogre and Ogre doesn't take it well, it explodes leaving a mess of fur,
hoof, skin and blood everywhere. Jin is elated at beating the thing that
killed his mother and turns to Heihachi for approval. Heihachi is enraged by
this massive setback and orders the Tekken Force to shoot Jin. He then shoots
Jin himself to make sure he's dead. He turns away, but bodies start flying
past him. Jin rushes at him, eyes glowing red, wings sprouting from his back.
Heihachi is powerless as Jin smashes him through a wall and then flies off. He
can only watch and mull over this latest twist in the story of the Mishima
bloodline.
ENDING: Heihachi is in a helicopter and tips out the unconscious body of Jin as
his devil attributes begin to appear [This didn't happen]
TEKKEN 4: Heihachi used the remains of Ogre to try and merge his own DNA with.
He could not because he lacked the compatible devil gene, shared by Kazuya and
Jin. While looking for Jin he finds a picture of what he believes to be the
burned corpse of Kazuya. He learn that the mysterious G-Corporation found the
corpse 20 years ago and took it away for experiments.
Heihachi organises a break in of the G-Corporations headquarters and discovers
that they cloned Kazuya 20 years ago and he has been helping them ever since
unlock the secret of the Devil Gene. Heihachi's men trash the place, but
before they go Kazuya appears and in a rage at having his father come and mess
things up again kills most of the Tekken Force in the building before
disappearing.
Now very intrigued, Heihachi decides its time for another tournament. The King
of Iron Fist Tournament4 is announced. Heihachi knows after all this time
Kazuya won't want to miss this father - son reunion....
ENDING: "Heihachi did not kill Kazuya outright. 'Come with me if you want to
see your son' he said and led Kazuya out of the arena. A few hours later the
two were deep within the Mishima Zaibatsu compound. A massive Temple stood in
the midst of a forest shrouded in fog - the two stepped inside."
As the walk inside kazuya looks up to see Jin unconscious, suspended by chains
around his arms. Chains fly out and grab him around the arms as well.
Hehiachi laughs and tells him the chains sap the strength of anyone with the
Devil gene. Soon they will both be dead and he will achieve his ultimate
objective..
"Thereafter the world came to know a new ages of darkness.."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
********************* z) Kazuya Mishima/Devil/Angel *******************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Prologue: Kazuya Mishima was a kind young boy. His mother had died young
leaving him under the tyrannical rule of his father, Heihachi. Kazuya trained
hard in the Mishima Karate style and wanted to become the greatest fighter
there ever lived. Heihachi saw his potential, but realised that his son lacked
the hardness and drive he would need to become truly triumphant.
Heihachi worst fears were realised one day when he saw his 8-year-old son
comforting a young girl who was distressed over the death of a rabbit. He
strode up to his son and angrily declared "you are weak, no son of mine will be
this weak!" Scooping the young boy up he took him to the edge of a cliff.
"Lions push their cubs over a cliff and only raise the ones that climb back up.
If you are truly my son you will be able to climb back up."
Ignoring Kazuya's screams he hurled him over the edge....
Kazuya lay broken and bloody at the bottom of the ravine. But he was still
alive. Painfully he clambered up the side of the cliff, hatred for his father
burning in his heart. But he was weak and his strength was ebbing away, even
his hate might not be enough to give him strength. But something had noticed
him... a dark shape appeared to the young boy and offered him all the strength
he would ever need to take revenge on his father. Kazuya gladly sold his soul
to the Devil that day, in return for unimaginable power. He finally reached
the top of the ravine. "I will never forgive you father" he swore. "I will have
my revenge one day".
TEKKEN: 18 years after his father threw him over the cliff, 26-year-old Kazuya
had trained and grown into a powerful fighter. A winner of many championships
and only one fighter had ever fought him to a draw - Paul Phoenix.
When he read about the King of Iron Fist Tournament Kazuya saw this as the
perfect opportunity to take revenge on his father. During the Tournament Kazuya
met Lee Chaolan - Heihachi's adopted son. Lee quickly saw that Kazuya could
take out Heihachi and stepped aside, hoping that Kazuya remember his loyalty
and reward him after the tournament.
Facing Heihachi in the showdown, Kazuya utterly defeats him, his pent-up rage
results in him beating Heihachi almost to death.
ENDING: In one last gesture of vengeful pay-back he takes Heihachi's
unconscious body to the same cliff he was thrown off many years ago. Slowly he
lets his father go and watches with pleasure as Heihachi falls into oblivion.
TEKKEN 2: Now 28 years old, Kazuya wields enormous power as the head of the
Mishima conglomeration. He has fingers in many pies. Having kidnapped eminent
scientist Dr. Boskonovitch he puts Lee Chaolan in charge of bio-weapons
research. Also intrigued by the rumours around a scared treasure regained by
Michelle Chang from Kunimitsu in the first tournament, he hires Ganryu to
kidnap her mother, to force the secret of the treasure from her. Finally he
recruits tormented Tai Kwon Do master Baek Doo-San to trash Marshall Laws Dojo,
as he sees Marshall as a future source of unwanted competition.
He has everything a young man could want and so decides to Organise a Second
Iron Fist Tournament. But two things happen in the tournament that radically
effect Kazuyas future. First of all he meets with Jun Kazama. This beautiful
young woman had been sent to investigate his bio-weapons research. But he felt
a strange bond to her, she was the little girl he had comforted on the day his
father threw him off the cliff. He also feels the extraordinary goodness
emanating from her, although every part of his Devil ridden soul is screaming
out to kill her, something he hadn't felt for a long time stirred inside
him..love.
Unable to resist the strange forces between them, they slept with each other.
Jun quickly left the tournament after that, missing the final showdown between
Kazuya and Heihachi. Troubled, Kazuya was now faced with two manifestations of
his personality - his hatred in the form of Devil and his goodness in the form
of Angel, reawakened by his contact with Jun. Kazuya's hatred won and he
accepts the full power of Devil inside him.
The Devil was now part of Kazuya and he mutated into a lethal demonic creature
with wings and the power to blast energy beam from his eyes. Truly Kazuya was
un-defeat able. But he reckoned without the power of his father, after along
and bloody battle Heihachi finally defeated Kazuya. "Even with the power of
the Devil he could not defeat me" - his son was not worthy after all. To make
sure he never returned Heihachi tossed Kazuya's body into a volcano. He did not
notice the shadowy presence leaving Kazuya's body as it tumbled towards the hot
lava.
ENDINGS: Kazuya - rejecting the Devil, Kazuya instead fights it. Thinking it
defeated he turns away. But the Devil fires energy blasts at his back.
Heihachi, maybe in a moment of genuine fatherly feeling flings himself in the
beams path. Concerned Kazuya reaches for him, then the anger returns and he
lifts Heihachi's body up and runs towards Devil using his father's body as a
shield. Tossing the dead body of Heihachi to one side he delivers the killer
blow to Devil. Free of his father and the Devil, Kazuya looks forward to a life
of peace. [This definitely did not happen!]
ENDINGS: Devil - Angel is defeated and the Devil takes Kazuya. Together they
become a raging beast of awesome power. The top blasts off the Mishima
building and Devil-Kazuya has the power to control and destroy the world.
[This Ending did not happen.]
ENDINGS: Angel - The goodness reawakened by Jun summons the strength of all the
good souls in the tournament. Together their combined effort casts out Devil
and frees Kazuya's Soul. [This ending never happened.]
TEKKEN 3: Kazuya is now considered dead. Although he lives on in his son Jin,
who inherits Kazuya's "Devil Genes".
TEKKEN 4: Defeated by Heihachi and thrown into the mouth of a volcano twenty
years ago, Kazuya was brought back to life by G Corporation, a biotech firm
making revolutionary advances in the field of biogenetics research. With G
Corporation's aid, Kazuya investigated the mechanism of the Devil Gene that
resides within his body by subjecting himself to genetic experiments. Kazuya
believed that once he unlocked and controlled the power of the Devil Gene, he
would be powerful enough to defeat Heihachi and destroy the Mishima Zaibatsu.
Twenty years later, the Tekken Forces attacked a G Corporation research
facility without warning and succeeded in stealing research data for the
Mishima Zaibatsu. 49-year-old Kazuya learns that he was also a target in the
attack. Infuriated that Heihachi once again ruined his plans, Kazuya is
determined to seek his revenge against Heihachi more than ever.
Kazuya instantly recognizes the announcement of The King of Iron Fist
Tournament 4 as a trap set by Heihachi to lure him out. Despite this knowledge,
Kazuya enters the Tournament it is his chance to defeat Heihachi.
ENDING: "The tournament official sent Kazuya a message. 'The winner of round 7
by default is Kazuya Mishima. Please proceed to the final stage.' Though
Kazuya sensed Heihachi's hand in Jin's disappearance a fearless grin crept
across his face as he headed for the final stage. A few hours later the two
were deep within the Mishima Zaibatsu compound. A massive Temple stood in the
midst of a forest shrouded in fog - the two stepped inside."
Kazuya's eyes glow red and he says he is the Devil. He needs his cells back
from Jin to become complete. He smashes Heihachi across the floor sneering
that his science couldn't answer his power. He then tries to pull the purple
devil material out of Jin but it won't come. Then the Kazuya part of the
Devil/Kazuya clone takes over and speaks of "unifying their power with this
method." The red Devil eyes are gone. Jin drops down and they fight, but
Kazuya beats him. He draws some white mist out of Jin and transforms into
Devil Kazuya.
"That day the Mishima Zaibatsu compound and everything surrounding it
disappeared without trace."

************************* aa) Christie Monteiro ***********************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN 4: Christie is a new character in the series. She is 19 years old and a
disciple of Capoeira.
Christie is the granddaughter of the Capoeira master who taught Eddy Gordo the
art of Capoeira during his incarceration in prison. While in prison, Eddy swore
an oath to the master to pass on the art of Capoeira to his granddaughter.
Eddy sought out Christie shortly after his return from The King of Iron Fist
Tournament 3 and taught her the art of Capoeira, just as he promised his
master. After only two years of tutelage, Eddy turned Christie into an
impressive fighter.
But soon thereafter, Eddy abruptly disappeared, leaving Christie only with the
words, "I must seek vengeance against the enemy responsible for the death of my
father."
Troubled by his sudden and mysterious disappearance, Christie chases after Eddy
with her only lead - The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4.
ENDING: Crhistie stands triumphant, but she doesn't feel very triumphant. The
media surround her, firng questions and taking pictures. She is not very
responsive and wearily looks across the crowd. But then she spots a familiar
figure. Hardly able to believe it she rushes through the crowd and hugs him,
Eddy her missing mentor. With one hand in a sling he holds her too.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
***************************** bb) Mokujin ******************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN 3: Mokujin was an ancient wooden Training Dummy sitting in a museum.
Over many years it had absorbed the different fighting styles of all those who
has trained on it. When the God of Fighting was awakened, some mysterious
energy bought Mokujin to life and it broke out of the museum. Drawn by some
strange compulsion it entered the third iron Fist Tournament in search of the
creature that had given it life.
ENDING: Mokujin takes out his frustrations with Mrs. Mokujin on a Tekken 3
Arcade machine. [This ending happened, probably....]
TRIVIA: Mokojin is japanese for "wood person" and tetsujin is "metal person"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
************************* cc) Ogre/True Ogre ***************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN 3: Ogre is disturbed by the excavations of Heihachis Tekken Force. The
legend of Native Americans says the Ogre was the war weapon which creatures
from outer space left on earth in ancient time. It understands entire
structures of all living and artificial beings, and absorbs them. The key to
controlling this being is held by Michelle Changs tribe. Her pendant is a key
part of this secret.
Ogre wanders the earth in search of strong souls. Over four years he absorbs
many strong martial artists. These include Jun Kazama, Baek Doo-San, Wang
Jinery (probably), King, Bruce Irvin (probably) and Lee Chaolan (only
partially).
Lurking in his temple hideaway, he senses that more strong souls are to come to
him during the Third Tekken Tournament. He waits for them, some are too strong
and defeat him! But he does not care, he is waiting for the strongest soul of
them all, one he sensed four years ago when he absorbed Jun Kazama. But the
time was not right then.
In due time Jin comes to the temple, the power exuding from him is so great it
triggers Ogres transformation into his true form. Now the huge bat-like demon
prepares to absorn Jin, but Jin is too powerful. True Ogre is not just beaten,
he is utterly destroyed! But his death has triggered the emergence of a new
and even more fearsome Fighting Creature - Devil Jin.
ENDING: Ogre transforms into True Ogre and fires the Tekken force sent to
subdue
him. [This happened before Jin splattered him all over the shop]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
****************************** dd) P-Jack ******************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN: Prototype Jack is created by the Mishima Corporation to defend Heihachi
from the threat of the Russian Cyborg, Jack. Unfortunately P-Jack is
handicapped. His mighty weaponry seemed to consist of having what looked like a
snowplough for an arm and he was no match for the more sophisticated Jack.
After he took control of the Mishima Corporation, Kazuya saw the potential of
the Cyborg fighters and engineers the kidnap of the original Jack designer, Dr.
Boskonovitch. Dr. B is forced to use his designs for the Jack - 2 range to
create a better P-Jack.
Before Dr. Boskonovitch can test the Prototype Jack properly, he is rescued by
Yoshimitsu. Kazuya decides that the tournament will be the best place to test
the new Cyborg and activates him anyway. P-Jack comes up against the
"humanised" Jack - 2. Alas his wobbly hands are no match for Jack-2's power.
He is beaten again.
ENDING: P-Jack stomps about in his warehouse. He is not angry about his
defeat; he is not programmed to feel emotions. He decides to test his flying
capabilities, something he did not have a chance to try in the tournament. He
shoots upwards, but leaves something behind...three screws.
Too bad Dr. B never got a chance to test him properly.
He explodes roughly 100 feet above the ground. Ooops. [This ending happened,
and good riddance as well].
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
**************************** ee) Paul Phoenix **************************
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
TEKKEN: Paul Phoenix is a fiery young man of tremendous drive and talent. He
is a great Judo fighter and well respected by many. One day he fights a
strange young man called Kazuya to a draw and considers him a worthy rival.
One day he hears of the First Iron Fist Tournament and enters. This is his
chance to prove he is the greatest fighter of all time. As an added bonus he
will get to fight Kazuya again. Unfortunatle
