You're about to read what I believe is the first wide-spread
compilation dedicated solely to keeping a complete record of all the
English, Korean, Spanish, et cetera., lyrics from the multitude of
songs that make up the track lists of the arcade rhythm game Pump It
Up. The game originated in Korea, and as such, had its start with
nearly all Korean music.
However, as the game's popularity as spread, so has its integration of
music from various cultures. Hence, there are now songs of varying
languages in the game, many of which have lyrics that, frankly, are
nearly impossible to figure out at times.
The purpose of this FAQ is to shed light on all things from foreign
language, to high-speed English rapping, to even obscure science-
fictional random quotes thrown into the generic, high-speed techno
track; a common occurrence in a Pump It Up game.
For the time being, this is not yet complete, as this is an ongoing
work-in-progress, but as new songs become widely available and
transcribed, they will be summarily updated to this FAQ. For the time
being, the extensiveness of this FAQ can satisfy a great deal of
confusion most players of Pump['PIU'] tend to experience upon listening
to the music both in the arcades, and elsewhere.
This is strictly a lyrical FAQ; and contains no codes, technical data,
et cetera. This is purely for those seeking to learn more about what
makes up the cultural potpourri that is a Pump It Up song list; in this
case, the lyrics thereof. Still with us? Good.
This is a joint venture between myself(for nearly all of the English
lyrics), Deideis + Tongue73(the Korean translations/Romanizations), and
a number of others who otherwise clarified certain verses in the
English tracks, as well as numerous K-Pop lyric websites, without which
many of these lyrics wouldn't be here.
However, the act of compiling, editing for clarity, and organizing
these lyrical transcriptions was the result of my own profuse efforts.
This underwent a great deal of reworking and additions along the way to
create the compilation you read before you, over the course of many,
many hours of diligent and repetitive listening of MP3s, and in certain
causes, profuse translating. So if you wish to post these lyrics
elsewhere, kindly request either my permission, or that of the person
responsible for the lyrics in question.

This is going to be initially sorted by versions (PREX, Premiere 2,
Premiere/PREX3), and then alphabetically. Within these groupings, it
will be notated any or all of the following, as it applies: whether it
is a full version or game edit(or both if applicable), whether it is
English or translated(and notated with Romanization where applicable),
and whether or not it was either translated(to be credited in []) or
assisted with(noted via ^) by another contributor.
No notations pertaining to the latter variety means it was a track I
personally deciphered.
Also, the appearances of a question mark[?] will signify either a
presently indecipherable lyric, one in a foreign language, or simply
one of which the meaning is not yet certified.
Any comments, or special notes, will generally be signified with a *,
and mentioned at the end of that song's lyrics, or as the author who
transcribed it intended. All translations are posted precisely in
context as done by the translator in question; as I'm unwilling to edit
something that I don't fully understand the entire meaning behind the
lyrics of.
It should also be forewarned that some of the songs, particularly ones
from the later mixes, integrate profane lyrics of various natures.
These have been edited with *s where appropriate; but may still prove
offensive to some readers. Discretion advised.

The original reads something along the lines of this: "Thinking
carefully,
I realize I'm a bear." The Korean word for
"carefully," in this instance, is "gom-gom-i", and the word for "bear"
is
"gom." I have no idea what they're trying to say, though... Perhaps
making a
statement about how the bear is not the only one who is being
controlled.
