"Wow! A great game"

Well, here goes. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is a sequel following Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes made by Capcom
(but overall, I think the second is better). It is a fighting arcade game, but it is also available on Sega Dreamcast. With 56 characters and a lot of stages, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is really cool. Note: From now on I will refer to it as MvC2.

GRAPHICS-8/10

The graphics on this game are cool, although a bit...cartoony, I should say? It is very difficult to see what is going on when both people are whipping out a 3-person Hyper. Still, it's better that some games I have seen.

SOUND-8/10

The sound, in a way, is ''catchy'', but not really. Not much to say, but that it will do.

VARIETY-9/10

There are sooooo many different characters to choose from! I mean, from Roll to Wolverine to Guile to Chun Li, there are lots! The different stages are neat, too. The different assist types add even more variety to the game. The variety on this game is great.

GAMEPLAY-9/10

Finally, the biggie. Gameplay. This section will be long, so strap in. The gameplay of this game is a lot like MvC1.
But, there is a new thing. Assists. Assists add just so much fun to this game that the game would be a bum without them (at least that is what I think. Your opinion will vary probably.)You pick 3 characters, and you just hit the assist button any time you want help! Oh yeah, that's another thing. The new button Layout. The normal street Fighter button layout has been edited in this game. Instead of there being three levels of power to a kick or punch, there are now only two levels, and the other buttons are Assist 1 and 2. However, the machine labels them as the normal layout! Mistake on Capcom's part. Oh well. Anyway, when you want to do a HUGE move, make sure you have three characters alive and your super bar (the bar on your side at the bottom of the screen) is full. Then hit Assist 1,2,Fierce Punch and Roundhouse Kick at the same time. Your three characters will come out and do a cool move which will probably do ample damage even if blocked. Cool, huh?
Anyway, the gameplay is good.

So that is my review. I highly recommend playing this game. Oh yeah, one more thing. If you win you get a free game.
