"Let's face the fact: MKII's the only good one out there now."

Now we're talking blood here! Mortal Kombat II is greatly improved over the first prequel that shattered the nation by suprise with its bloody style and graphics. With new and cool characters, this Kombat may be the best one yet. And now, down to the review.

1.Playability: 8/10
This Mortal Kombat is the best one yet in terms of playability. New bosses will definitely make you pissed when you lose so start popping those quarters in! New characters and faster gameplay improves it but sometimes it still feels like the original in some rare ways. But come on! This is a sequel!

2.Sound: 9/10
Mortal Kombat 2 has good sound quality. There is good in each stage. Sure, the combatants dying may scream, but it's still pretty good. Some fatalities don't involve screaming, that's pretty good, but most involve screaming. It's bound to get annoying, but the sound is still good.

3.Graphics: 10/10
This has got to be the bomb! The character actors appear larger than ever and looks more detailed than the original Mortal Kombat. They are cooler than ever!! Move over Street Fighter!

4.Replay Value: 10/10
Now we are talking gameplay here! New characters add to the replay value with new specials and fatalities! In fact, everyone has at least two of them!

Is it worth it?
Definitely! A must have for all Kombatants! Remember, Mortal Kombat II is the only good one out there now.
