Marvel vs. Capcom
Review by Dekar the Great
"A great fighter with a good selection of characters!"
Gameplay 9/10
Its fun. I like the tag team style game play. Some of the supers are a bit hard to do until you get use to them. All the characters are pretty much balanced IMO. Sometimes I pull of the wrong super on accent, which can be totally fatal.
Story 9/10
Well. . . Onslaught wants to take over the world,or destroy it its one of the two. Thats basically it from what I understand. And as usual instead of taking the easy way out and everyone teaming up on him, they have a tag team tournament.
Sound 8/10
This does not include music.Good sound but sometimes the sound can get annoying. Especially with someone playing as Megaman. I'm sure most of yall know what I'm talking about. The same annoying voice over and over again. Thats why I usually pick Roll over Megaman. She isn't as annoying and I think much better.
Music 9/10
I'm sure most of yall are saying ''Theres music?!'' Well yes there is, but most of it is to quiet and is drowned out by the voices. If you strain to hear it, it's good music.
Graphics 10/10
I thought this game had good graphics. I like the character sprites. I thought they were well done. Some of the Supers looked really good. I love the stages. They were nicely done. Onslaught's second form looked cool.
Replay Value 10/10
This game has great replay value. I don't know about you but I play this at least twice every time I go to the arcade. I know a few people that this is the only one they play. It's always fun to try out a different team than what you usually use.
Overall 9.5/10
Yup. As great as a game this is it still gets a 9/10. Well really cant say much here except go play it if you haven't. Its a great game! I really like crossover games because they answer a few ''What if...'' questions. Like what if Megaman fought Ryu. And what if Spiderman fought Morrigan. Ok maybe not the last one . .
Rent or Buy
Well seeing as how you cant rent it, if you can afford it, seein as how its an arcade machine, buy it. If not, just go to your local arcade, or if you wanna face different people go to a non local arcade, and play it there. It could range anywhere from 25 to 50 cents. Not to much.
