"This is one of the better arcade shooter games!"

1942, was a sad letdown. The music was horrible, the sounds stunk, and the graphics, were sad. However, unlike 1942, 1941 is a BIG difference! 1941, is one of the best arcade shooter games out there! The graphics are good, the difficultness is just right! In addition, you get ranks in the game like captain, major, by destroying more ships; being destroyed a lot less and getting more score and power ups! This makes your rank better. You also can get nice power ups! Some of the power ups, you can get are the lasers, the bombs, more hits, faster speed, missiles and much more! From the sounds, to the music, this game is good. You can charge your gun; spin in mid-air to dodge attacks, and almost everything! The only reason I put a 9,instead of a 10, is this game is a little dated now, but don't let that slow you down! This game is also SUPER run in two-player mode! I always bring a friend along, and play in two-player mode! I wish they would make more games like this. Let's go to the ratings!

Difficultness: 6/10

I like games, where the difficultness is a 6/10! It's just right for arcade games! You can make it to the third level, just on one quarter! I do it all the time! It's good, enough, though, that at the same time, that it puts up quite a challenge!

Music: 10/10

This game, actually, has VERY good music! It's the same music, repeatedly. Every stage has new music, the tune, even matches the level atmosphere! I could listen to it, again and again, without going crazy!

Sounds: 7/10

The sounds are good, but like most shooter games, the sound of gunfire gets on your nerves. I wish that you could mute the sounds, and just listen to the music!

Plot: 5/10

If you know about the war happening about this time, you know the plot. Although the game never says the plot in the game, most of us, already know the plot!

Total: 9/10

I really like this game! Capcom, bravo! Make a 2003, please! Please do not mistake this game for its brother, 1942, 1941 is the way to go! Note: This game is on different systems. This review does not include them, for I have not tested them yet, to see if they are the same game, same graphics, and so on. Thank You.
