Mortal Kombat II

"Grab some quarters, grab your keys, go to an old school arcade, and find this game!"

INTRODUCTION
Well, when you're looking around at an arcade, you want something that's appealing. You don't want a game that looks incredibly boring, like, ''Barney's Magical Adventure''. You're just wanting something that looks cool. Mortal Kombat II is one of these games that SCREAM at you, literally. You'll probably see some guys around the game and one of the characters on the game goes ''AH!!!!'' So, let's break this down!

GRAPHICS (9/10)
Well, I like the graphics. Some of the level designs are nice. And for that period of time, these graphics were grand. Some of the characters are well done. And the blood, even though it's extremely unrealistic, looks good. So I'm going to give the graphics a 9 out of 10.

SOUND (10/10)
The sound is pretty good. I always liked that guy that goes, ''FINISH HIM!'' Always sounded cool. The screaming from the dying characters is present. It's sometimes kind of funny. The music is pretty cool too. So I'm going to give the sound a perfect score!

GAMEPLAY (10/10)
The gameplay in this game is great. The only thing is, you better hope you bring enough quarters along. If no one is challenging you to a battle, you can go through the story mode. Even though there isn't much of a story to begin with. The story mode is pretty hard as well. I could barely make through it. That's why I say that you need to bring a lot of quarters along. You could always spruce up your skills in the story mode as well if there isn't anyone challenging you at the time. If you're wanting to test those skills out, you could always hand some quarters out near by arcade goers. And then you could either mess them up, or they'll mess you up. It's definitely worth it. The fatalities are still here and it's still gory. Some are cool, but some are lame. They rip each other's heads off. I wish there was more variety with it. Instead of every character's finisher involving decapitation. The gameplay is going to get a perfect score.

FINAL SCORES
Graphics - 9/10
Sound - 10/10
Gameplay - 10/10
AVERAGE: 9.6
FINAL SCORE: 10/10

THE FINAL VERDICT
I always found this game really fun in the arcade. At home, eh, I didn't really like the home version all that much. Although I liked the later versions of the game at home (Deadly Alliance). But you might be lucky to find this game in an arcade. I still see it every now and then, because the last time I was at my roller skating rink (it's been years, trust me), they had this game. So, you might still be able to find this. I don't know. That's why I said in the topic title, go to a old school arcade. So, grab some friends, grab some family members, and head on down to the arcade! If you have no friends, then still go down there and get some skills at this game!

That's my review and I'm sticking to it!
