"Lovable and cute! You'll play this game without even knowing the time!"

The first thing that came across my mind while playing this game is the game is terribly fun! Puzzle Bobble has the most beautiful graphics as well as many challenging enemies (or rather, puzzles) that you may as well expect it to be.

Graphics – 9
Simply beautiful and amazing! There are lots and lots of cheerful and bright colours, ranging from red to black! All characters are very well detailed with their own colours. The backgrounds are almost the same everytime you play (either black or blue or other colours) and then will be covered by the bubbles. It will always be in split-screen mode (no matter whether you select one or two-player mode) to see the player, either the computer-controlled or your friend. The fast, rapid animations of the cute, moving characters below the screen, the ‘bubble-shooter’ machine and bubbles flying here and there seem to add more to the graphics, and you can’t see any flaws with the quick frame rate.

Music – 9
The sound effects are pretty good for they sound exactly what and when they should sound (espeacially their noticeable high-pitched sentence, “Ready, GO!)! The background music has some sort of ‘exciting ingredient’ added to it, building up your confidence in winning the game.

Gameplay – 9
Definitely fun! This awesome game requires you to shoot the coloured bubbles at their own, same colours in order to burst them (well, matching the colours to be in exact in threes). Whose bubbles touched the ‘losing line’ will be considered the loser. When you start playing this game, you’ll warm up with it to tackle with cute characters. Never fear, the first level should be easy enough for you to figure out for a while and master the first level. There are many levels which difficulty increased everytime.

You can even play in a two-player mode that is more fun to fight against the other player (since you won’t know what your friend will do). Also, make sure you bring enough money to play or you’ll regret!

Replay Value – 8
Puzzle Bobble is one of the best arcade games I’ve ever played! You will surely return to this game after you complete the whole game. It’s one game that you really must play, better still, have a friend to fight against and you’ll have more fun with this game.

Overall – 9
It’s a nice, exciting and always fun game! You will play this game without even knowing the time! This game will carry you out to the ‘gaming world’ where you’ll think nothing except how to beat the game! You may think that it’s intentionally for kids though it’s not really; it’s safe espeacially for kids and adults.
