"Best out of the three"

House of the Dead made by Sega is a great arcade game for any ages (I think)! This is the game that started the trio of Houses of the Deads', all great games but this is the best out of all of them. Even if it does have bad graphics, but every thing is better then the other ones. Wells that's what I think, and I have played (and beaten) every one.

Game play 10/10 - Shooting zombies and flying dogs aren't better in any other game then this one. Dozens of different enemies, the game never gets to boring. Except for the cut scenes, witch are not really long enough to complain about. Saving scientists always post a challenge when your just about being hacked to pieces by a huge overweight monster with a chainsaw. But if you save him you get a life up! You will need all the life you can get when your against scary looking and tough boss' at the end of each of the five stages. Also trying to get the good ending by getting over a large amount of points is fun to do.

Graphics 8/10 - The reason I did not give its any thing lower was because of the time this game was released. If it was now and they released it, the game graphics would be amazing. But for its time this has pretty good graphic. All the boss' have great looking graphics, the characters are a different story. They look a little off, but nothing close to other shooting games of our times.

Story 9/10 - The story isn't the greatest but it works with the game and its not to confusing. Also your actions in the game effect how you move though out the chapters. Saving a scientists can make the difference from just walking across a bridge. Or having to go through a underground sewer tunnel to get to the house and kill the bad guy.

Availability 9/10 - This game is just about every where. The only arcade game I've seen more then this is Area 51 by Midway. The game cost 50 cents most of the times I've seen it. Plus it has two player so twice the fun for everyone!

Overall this game is awesome, and should be played by any one. Play it while you can because of the bas graphics and old release date. You shouldn't see it around a lot any more.
