The House of the Dead

"Sega does it again!!!"

When I played the first HOTD game at my mall's arcade. I intsantly fell in love with this game. Sega change the face of shooters by offering more than just mindless shooting. Now, the zombies are back and dangerous than ever (not to mention ugiler, can you say gross!). Luckily, your guns have just been waiting for such this occuion. Time to rot these rots.

Graphics/10: Whoa!, Sega has outdone themsevles with these ghoulish creatures. The guys who made this game must have seen I lot of B-movies because it shows. The backgrounds also give off a spooky feeling.

Music&Sound/9: That classic organ music returns, but this time theres a nice little beat techco beat that really the game some bump. Unfortenly, the chessy voice acting also is in here. When wiil this game get some decent voice actors.

Story/9: It seems that another evil genuis has created his own undead army and set them those on loose on helpless people in a huge, creepy looking city. It up to four AMS agents to stop this madman. Basiclly, this is the first story with a little more added to it. Oh well, you can't change the classics.

Gameplay/10: HOTD is better than ever. Six new levels, new muitlpe paths, bosses are meaner and tougher. Three more endings and getting a A agent ranking is really gonna break your wallet as it not as easy this time around. Sega, you've outdone yourself with this one. Good job, guys, good job.

If you like the first one, want to get the arcade feel the Dreamcast fail to give, or just like blowing the rotting undead back to thier graves. Than grab some quarters and go find this game at your arcade. Like the first one did, the game will not leave you dissapointed.
