"Mario did it again!!!"

Back in the begging of video games. Mario was a plumber and was trying to save a girl. Later known as the Princess Peach. This is a great game from then and it still is. It is a challenging game you will be pumping money into that machine. It is difficult to do but after a while you will get the hang of it. How high can you climb? The graphics were good for the day and the control was smooth with the arcade stick. One of the fun and best games I’ve ever played.

GAMEPLAY **9**

The game play is pretty good. It works well and fits just right. If you played it in the arcade and then on the Donkey Kong 64 game with N-64 controller it is hard to do it on the N-64 controller the arcade stick works better. Mario works very well through the arcade stick. All of his actions are accurately done with no problems.

SOUND **7**

The sound isn’t all that great. When Mario moves it makes a clicking sound but other than that the sound isn’t too shabby. It doesn’t sound so bad at all just that the clicking of Mario walking may drive you up the wall. Most of the sound is there but some of it is very annoying to listen over and over again. The developers did a pretty good job on the sound it just could have used some work.

GRAPHICS / LEVEL DESIGN **9**

For that day and age these graphics were amazing. But now they are a LITTLE out dated. The graphics still don’t look all to bad. The graphics are kinda like an old NES but I think they look cool. All of the levels are very detailed and are very neat. They were each designed very good and look good. The level design is awesome. The developers had some pretty cool ideas for levels. My favorite is the last one with the springy things that are jumping down from the top.

CHALLENGE **9**

A very difficult game but it is very fun. The challenge is pretty high. The first few levels may be easy but the next ones won’t. The game will get simplier but it will take some time to get use to.

OVERALL **8**

This is a great Mario vs. DK game. It may be short but it will take you awhile to beat. With all of the neat levels to play through and a great game to just give it a try once. If you got some change take a try at this game you may be impressed. It is a top quality game made by the best and for the best. You may be impressed. Try this game a few times you won’t be wasting your money.
