Smash T.V.
Review by Gio
"Blood, Bullets, and a VCR?!"
Smash TV is an awesome game, but is harder than playing Silent Scope in round two when you have it on the ''hard'' difficulty (exaggeration). Anyway, besides the fact that it's hard, it is really fun. You use the dual joysticks to blast and run. Basically, that's all you do in this game. You must play through a violent and deadly futuristic game show where you are attacked in every arena of the studio. Your enemies range from baseball bat swinging thugs and fat dudes that explode into bits of shrapnel to wall-cannons, mines and tanks. Not to mention the super-hard bosses. This game has more gore than Area 51 or Mortal Kombat for that matter. Especially when you kill the bosses. On your way you get to collect money and prizes.
GRAPHICS 7/10: Everything's pretty swell here. The overhead view is alot better than some side-walking adventure shooter (No offense to NARC). The rooms are well-sketched and the bosses look really good.
SOUND 9/10: There is so much that the music and voices are drowned out in the action and sound-effects. TOTAL CARNAGE!!! I LOVE IT!!! There's too much to say to fit in.
FUN FACTOR 10/10: This game is so fun that you might empty your entire pocket on it. You'll probably never win. I'd give $100 to the man who beat that game. And frustration may happen, but it never did with me. When you first start you'll say ''This is easy!'' But you'll most likely end up in a pile of pieces in the end.
REPLAYABILITY 8/10: You will always come back to Smash TV. Because you'll never beat it and there's always a new experience every time you play. I have yet to see the chopper blades chop up the camera men though. A word of advice from an expert: don't wait around too long to decide which exit to take, if you want to see what happens, your in for human carpentery.
