Introduction: Mappy is probably one of the most bizarre games you will every play, and yet, it is very addictive and a surprisingly good play.

Graphics: 6/10
Like all Arcade games the graphics can only be so good. However, the graphics for mappy are very appealing and have been done very well. Mappy himself looks good and has been done well and all the enemies look very good as well. The objects you have to recover are very good and the levels look fantastic. Thumbs up!

Sound: 7/10
More addictive Arcade game music! It has the same music for all the courses except for the bonus level music (which is the best). Opening doors creates quite a good sound likewise bouncing on the trampoline sounds good. Ringing bells has a good sound and overall the sound is quite nice.

Gameplay and Controls: 7/10
As with the other sections they are just average Arcade game controls. Not bad but sometimes it will take you a while to reach the button you are going for. The Gameplay is very good and very well done. It is a fantastic game and will keep you occupied for ages. It all looks very nice and plays out very well.

Challenge: 9/10
Mappy is a very challenging game! Although the first few levels you should clear without a problem by the time you get near level ten the game becomes extremely challenging. The enemies increase and the levels are bigger and more complex. There are also bonus levels every now and then in which you can gain an extra life for the main game. The bonus levels are also difficult as well.

Replay Value: 6/10
Once you have beaten Mappy you will feel the urge to go and play it many times through. The only reason I have given this is a seven is that it is hard to beat the game and you will get frustrated and probably will be discouraged to give it another go for a while.

Worth going to Play?
Probably. If you have liked what you have heard in this review then by all means go ahead and have a good go of it. If you are unsure it is probably still worth a go and if you think the game sounds bad then don't go at all!

Overall: 6/10
Mappy cleans up quite well for an arcade game and plays very well. The graphics are very nice and the sound is good too. Mappy is very challenging and there is a lot of times you will want to go back and play it. Get out there and give it a go!
