Marvel vs. Capcom 2

"This could be considered the greatest vs. game ever created."

I was first introduced to this game on the Playstation 2. After playing this game for a long time and beating everyone who I had played I got board of this game real quick. But one day my friend came over to my house and he said he had to just got back form the arcade were he saw this game. He said he ahd played some of the kids there and they were extremely good. He said that he didn't even think that I could beat them so of course I went to see if he was correct. All I can say is that he was right...there were some kids there that it seemed like that was all they did was play this game and they were the best people I have probably ever played in my entire life. Now lets get this review started. 1...2...3...LETS GO!

Graphics 10/10
The graphics are the best there is out there IMO. I love all the animations for ever character. I love the way every character looks and the movements that they all seem to have. Unlike most games were they all move the same this game is very very different for that matter. Some character in this game walk and some float and some fly...I LOVE this game in this. The way everything was done is just so unbelievable. You can really tell that they took time in the backgrounds in this game because it certainly shows.

Sound 10/10
The sound is another perfect aspect of this game. You can understand basically what everyone says. You will like the music in the levels and you will love what people say like I just said before. You can understand what the characters are saying when they us their special attacks. My personal favorite is Cable "Viper Beam!!" There is one thing that might seem to get annoying after awhile and that is this. After you hit someone or kill someone you will always here them cry or make some stupid noise. This got annoying while playing single player mode but if your playing someone at the arcade lets say then you will soon grow to love this noise (only if you are hearing it from your opponents character.)

Story 0/10
What story? There was a story...did I miss it cause I don't remember any story.

Gameplay 10/10
There are hundreds of moves for you to learn and use on people. There are 2-4 special moves for every character and the animations are different for every character. It will take you a long long time for you to remember and be able to successfully pull off every combo. So if you want to be able to become a good player and be able to destroy anyone you play then be prepared to be investing many many hours into this game just so you can be semi-good.

Replayability 10/10
Wow I guess you can't go wrong here either. Why do you ask? Well there are so many character to learn how to play as. There is Verses mode. There is a unlocking menu were there are at least hundreds of things to unlock. Again this will take a very long time to unlock so be prepared to be investing a long time into this part of the game. The 2 player part is by far the best part of the game the only thing that I recommend before you start playing the 2 player mode is this. Unlock almost if not all the character because if you don't then you will be definitely be missing out on a very good part of this game. The animations and the cool character in this game.

Rent or Buy?
Now here comes the hard question...don't even think about this just go out and buy it I will guarantee you that you won't regret it and you won't wish you would have spent your money on a different game.
