Marvel vs. Capcom
Review by Dark Templar
"The best 2-D fighter of all time"
Imagine Tekken Tag Tournament as a 2-D game with marvel and Capcom charactors instead of the tekken charactors.
Graphics-9
The hand drawn graphics for this game are excellent. The backrounds look nice but with all the action going on you probably won't notice.
Story-?
To tell you people the truth I am not even sure if their is a story to this game. If their is one I hope it to be as good as the gameplay.
Music/Sound-9
I never realy payed attention to the music in this game. But the sound effects are awsome the beam noises sound cool and the explosions sound very realistic.
Controll-8
If you are a button masher this would probably get a 10 but since I think button mashing is dumb I don't rate it as I were one. You will notice that some moves are hard to execute and the controll can get anoying but for the most part it dos'nt bother me.
Gameplay-10
The gameplay is fast a flawless, if I could choose one word to describe this game it would be fun. Hears basically what you do you pick two charactors and your oponet picks two then the computer picks one random charactor that comes to help you some times. When you are in the heat of battle your power bar fills up and when it does you can perform really power full attacks or you do double attacks with your team mate and if your opponet does a double attack all four charactors will be on the screen now thats cool.
Replay-9
I really hate arcade games over and over again and I think to my self ''why not buy the DC version'', but I injoy the arcade version much more because it seems more fun to me.
Overall-9
This is the greatest 2-D fighting game of all time and is better than some 3-D fighters as well. But after playing it in the arcade so much I don't want to buy the DC version. James:)
