"All I can say is WOW!"
The first time I saw this game, it wasn't operating. I looked at what was in it and I said "WOW!" This game has tons of stuff and then some. I don't even know where to start. Let's start with the very unique things. The first thing is the "Battle The Power" Playfield. This is a small playfield in the top left corner where the object is to flip the ball into a hole at the top. The thing is that there aren't any flippers. Instead they have "magna flippers." When you press the flipper button when the ball is near one of the two dots, the ball will magically flip up by itself. (Actually it's a magnet underneath that is doing that.) A game having that alone would be great but this game has lots more. One of the pinballs is made of ceramic and is called "The Powerball." This ball is much lighter and screams across the playfield. The object is to get that but up a loop to create one of the multiballs. There are also many neat toys in this game. One is a gumball machine in the back. Three pinballs usually hang out there. On some occasions when a ball is hit up the left loop, it gets placed into the gumball machine and the bottom ball comes out. This is where you want to bring the powerball to. Also there is a clock that shows the correct time when not in play. There are two rocket shots: one next to the plunger and the other that the ball goes to after winning the skill shot. The basic plot of the game is there is a door on the playfield. Getting the ball to the slot machine or player piano awards one of the door panels. Each panels gives either a prize (10 Mil or extra ball lit) or a little game. (Hit the center target as many times as possible for big points.) There are also four large panels. Getting the ball up both ramps light the top two panels and the gumball machine. Getting the ball in a hole in the back lights the bottom two panels. Getting the ball up the ramp one more time causes a multiball. If one should light all twelve little panels, the doorknob lights up. Getting the ball to the slot machine this time causes everything to light up plus a 6 BALL MULTIBALL! That is completely out of control but it is very hard to do. Best of all the theme is the old television show. Have a fun time trying to remember the episodes that each thing on the playfield and backglass come from. The animations are spectacular on the screen. If you ever run across this game in the future, do yourself a favor and play it!
