After starting a new game or loading an old game, go to the options mode -> cheat codes then type the following:

| howfastcanitbe(0-9) | Makes the oppoents slower or faster depending on the number selected. |
| starpower | Press F to fire gun, and disables damage |
| leatherandlace | Press F to fire gun, press H to fire rocket, and disables damage |
| starlite | Psychedelic View |
| howhardcanitbe(0-9) | Sets difficulty |
| upupdowndown | Turns off all cheats |
| yerbamate | Unlimited nitrous |
| rimbuk | Unlock all cars, modes, cities, and drivers in arcade mode |
| griswold | Unlock all Cities |
| theparrot | Unlock all racing modes |
