Introduction
------------
Arkanoid was the game that broke the mold in paddle/block games. Basically,
the game is an enhanced version of Pong in which you use a paddle, and hit a
small ball at several blocks above you. The goal of the game is to get rid of
all the blocks without losing your ball. Arkanoid was the original game of
this type, followed by several clones in the years to come. It first began in
the Arcades until Taito, Inc. released it for the Nintendo Entertainment System
back in the day. Naturally, the game is very self-explanatory, and a FAQ such
as this is rather unncessary, but it's more of a decorative FAQ than an
informative one.
Revision History

v1.0 (10/09/1999): Initial Release. First 16 level diagrams added.
v1.1 (11/06/1999): Added another 14 level diagrams to the respective section.
v1.2 (05/10/2000): Re-formatted the FAQ; changed the ASCII art type.

Arkanoid is a game in which you have a paddle placed on the bottom of the
screen, and blocks on top which form different pictures. Your object of the
game is to hit each block above with the ball to make it disappear. The
goal of the game is to get rid of all the blocks above heard without losing
your ball.
Taito released Arkanoid for the Nintendo Entertainment System back in 1986,
and it was pretty much just a re-make of the Arcade version. The game
features several items and obstacles that are there to prevent you from
completing each level, and while the game may seem rather easy, some of the
higher levels are quite tough.
