Missing: Since January

Missing combines Windows gameplay with the Internet to plunge players into an elaborate game of cat and mouse. The story begins when a journalist who's investigating a string of gruesome murders mysteriously disappears, along with his companion. Soon after, the production company he works for receives a disturbing CD containing video footage captured during his investigation. Now you must enter the mind of a serial killer by studying this evidence, researching 300 real and simulated Web sites, solving more than 100 challenging puzzles and games, and gathering clues from e-mails from virtual characters.
