I have just installed the game and I get an awful error that prevents gameplay.
I start up the game, it displays "precashing" and then it crashes, sending me back to the desktop.
I've tried editing the .int files but to no avail (mostly because I have no idea what I'm doing). I have tried running the safe mode but same error.
How can I run this game? What can I do?
Try to reinstall the game. You need to edit the INI files not the INT files.
Open unrealtournament.ini and search for
UsePrecache=True
Change it to
UsePrecache=False
I hope it solves the problem...
