Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn

It sounds like you're getting the "... is busy" problem. Is your game patched? Patching your game should eliminate that problem. Otherwise, just keep quicksaving, loading, trying to talk, quicksaving, loading, etc... until they finally decide they have time to talk to you.

I'd recommend the patch.

Did you patch the game? Try that.

If you only have SoA, get the SoA patch.
If you have both SoA and ToB, get the ToB patch (but NOT the SoA patch).

Either keep saving and loading or just kill the dryads unless u plan to go to windspear hills and plant their acorns.

Did you agree to help them by getting the acorns from Illyich? If you refused to help, they might not respond to future attempts to talk. In this case, killing them would solve the problem, or just start over and do their quest next time. Unless you are getting the 'busy' message in which case you need to either save and reload until they talk or get the patch.
