Question from atxu76
Asked on: 5/25 1:31AMhi all.
since buying a new comp i can't find the .ini file.
last time it was right there in the directory but now i cant find it.
i've tried using a search through ALL files on the comp and it only came up with the reference to it in the read-me file.
is it because i have a newer version of adobe reader instaled.
any and all help greatly appreciated.

statusSometimes its just called "baldur".
Well, if you're spelling it as "Baulder.ini" in your search, that would be your first problem.
It should probably be in a folder like:
C:\Program Files\Black Isle\Baldur's Gate II\
Also, unless you have changed the default Windows XP system settings to show file extensions, it will just be "baldur" and the icon should be similar to the icon for a text file, possible with a gear on top of it.
There's also the possibility it's a hidden file.
To see hidden files and file extensions, go to Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View tab. Select "Show hidden files and folders" and unselect "Hide extensions for known file types".
