Asked on: 1/17 6:19PMOkay I'm trying to use Jamella's Hero Editor but when I click choose character, (Click a character) a message saying 'Corrupt Field Encounter in save game file! (@ offset 0)'... what does that mean, and how do I fix it?
When I'm selecting the charcter my 'save' file IS open... so I don't see where the error is?! Keeping in mind I know next to nothing about this stuff.

statusby "my 'save' file IS open" do you mean your character is logged on? i only messed around a little with the jamella program but try being not logged on and you should go onto open battlenet with the character before editing them. the majority of my characters wouldnt work if they hadnt gone online, though some would.
Are you running patch 1.12? Then there's your answer. Jamella's is a VERY old editor, designed for Diablo II Patch 1.09 or lower.

jamellas is designed to work with nonexpansion ONLY
Just ask skeletal king said. If your version is 1.12 you cant use the jamella. you just go to google search for ( diablo 2 - 1.12 hero editor ).
