I think this may be a technical problem because you know that you have to crouch then quickly jump but this isn't working. I've tried quickly crouching then jumping, jumping then crouching, holding crouch and jumping. You name it I've done it.

statusPressing both buttons exactly at the same time usually works for me...and you can only do it after a scientist gives you a device somewhere far ingame and then gives you instructions to do it. If it still doesnt work, then it could be a bug or something in your game o_O
