i try to go to the swkotor.ini folder and add Enablecheats=1 like it says but when i do it says cannot save or the program stops working

i got the EnableCheats=1 (exactly like i just typed it) in the folder but i press` and it wont open the consol
do you have administrative privileges? These files often require them. If you do then you should move the swkotor.ini to the desktop or some other location of the sort, then open it and add the line and try saving. Afterwards you just move the swkotor.ini back into its original directory
